Cuddles After A Bad Day

I had had a bad day at work today, my boss seeming to push me around and expecting me to wait on him hand and foot for the most ridiculous things. I was so fed up that I had thought about quitting but I just wanted to go home and cuddle into Perrie's arms. She was always my cure for a bad day.  As I pulled into the driveway and slammed my car door shut, I saw Perrie open up the front door. She could tell immediately that I was having a bad day and I didn't hesitate to run into her arms and cry softly on her shoulder. She sat me down on the couch and began rubbing my back, hoping to comfort me a little.

P: "Bubs are you okay?"
A: "No. My day was complete shit Perrie! Gosh I hate my boss, he's so rude. And I get it, he's my boss but the things he wants me to do are ridiculous. He just pushes me around sometimes!" 
P: "Then quit babe."
A: "No, no I can't do that Perrie. I have bills I gotta pay."
P: "That's why I'm here. Look babe, you're miserable. This isn't the first time this week that you've come home crying. Just quit your job babe, I'll take care of you. I'd never let you fall on your face or anything babe. I care about you and I hate seeing you like this." 
I just sobbed at her words as she looked at the floor for a moment trying to think of what to say next. P: "Okay tell you what. Why don't I go run you a nice hot bath and you can relax then when you're done we'll watch a movie and I'll scratch your back like you like and you can just think about it. Does that sound good?"
I nodded my head as she kissed my cheek and smiled at me before walking upstairs to run me a hot bath.  Maybe she was right. Maybe I was just too stressed out and needed a break. I knew she cared about me and loved me, she wouldn't ever let me get hurt in any way and would take care of me no matter what.  And the more I thought about it, some time off sounded great. Time where I could relax with my girlfriend before she'd have to go back out on tour again in a few months. I wasn't totally sure what to do, but I knew that Perrie would make sure that either way, I was taken care of.
