"Hey, mamas." Lorenzo looked me up and down, standing in the doorway. In his hands was the black dress from last night. His tongue ran over his bottom lip making me weak in the knees.
"Mamas? The dress? The sexy beast standing at our door? You have explaining to do. And don't miss any details." She pointed her finger toward me, wiggling it around. She calls it her 'mom finger'. My mouth was handing open as my eyes darted between the both of them.
Kelianne gasped loudly. "Hickey! You have a hic-," she turned back to Lorenzo pointing her mom finger at him. "You have her a hickey?! Oh my god!" My stomach tightened as my head began to hurt.
I rushed to grab Lorenzo's free hand and dragged him down the hall. I pushed him into my room and he sat on my bed. Slamming my door shut, I whipped my body around to look at him. My feet stormed toward him. That stupid smirk is still on his face.
"Why? Why? What are you doing here?" I asked. His eyes trailed from mine down to the dark spots on my neck and collarbone. His fingers grazed my neck. "She was right. I did give you hickeys." He raised his eyebrow. "Lorenzo!"
"Look, I came here to give you back the dress that you left at my place when you ran away. Did you think my daughter doesn't tell me everything?" I chewed on my lip, unable to form an answer for him. "And might I say, that towel isn't covering much. You should wear it more often."
I huffed. "I didn't run away. I speed-walked to the end of the block and hailed a cab." I muttered. He laughed. "Why?"
"I needed to get home and study." His laughing seized. "Babygirl, you know I don't like lying. So stop it before I take you over my lap." I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
Take me over his- oh my god!
My eyes widened and I opened my mouth, but someone knocked on my bedroom door. I turned and opened my door slightly.
"Hey." I dragged it out awkwardly.
"Hi? I just need my-" he opened up my door and stopped. "I need my brush. Who is this?" Nate asked, rushing through his words. Lorenzo looked him up and down. I laughed loudly, trying to diffuse the situation.
"Omg this is so funny. I forgot to introduce you guys. Okay! Lorenzo this is Nate, my best friend. And Nate, this is Lorenzo. Lorenzo is...well, Lorenzo is-"
"Her boyfriend. Yeah, I'm her boyfriend." Both of our eyes sped to Lorenzo.
"Her what?"
"Yeah, my what?" Lorenzo snorted lightly. "Baby, I thought we sorted this out last night. And this morning. I mean, you were all over me. The sounds you made? Might've needed an exorcist. Remember, 'oh my god!'?" he mocked, "You were going crazy and I barely even touched you."
My eyes bugged out. I looked over and Nate was turning red.
"Gabriella." Nate looked at me. He's serious; he never calls me by my first name. His eyes were pleading for me to tell him that he was lying.
"Yeah, Gabby, tell him the truth." My eyes darted between them.
"Nate, how about you go and get dressed so we can go get that ice cream. Don't worry about him right now." He nodded and left. I shut my door softly.
"What the hell was that?" Lorenzo huffed. I scoffed.
"I could ask the same thing. What were you trying to accomplish?"
"What were you trying to accomplish? Hiding the fact that I'm your boyfriend?"
"I was trying to save my best friend from being humiliated!"
