I completely froze when I saw a man crouch down in front of Cecelia. I ran towards them, quickly picking up Penelope backing away.

"Get away from her." I told the man, the man stood up from his previous position
"Is she yours? She's adorable" he said looking between me and Penelope
"Who are you?" I asked ignoring his question "Lucas?" Alejandros voice came from behind me
"Brother" Lucas says while going in for a hug, Alejandro hugged him back and then pulled away.
"LUCASS" a high pitched voice called out from outside,
"Is that Maria?" Alejandro asked with excitement lacing his tone.

"Yes, I'll be right back, let me go see what she wants" Lucas said annoyed
"You have another brother?" I asked in confusion
"Yes, well he's not my blood brother, we were childhood friends all three of us." He responded
"Three?" I asked

"Yes, me, Lucas and Maria. Lucas and Maria are siblings. Our parents were very close, so we spent everyday together until Lucas and Maria's parents died when they were 4 and they had to go to Italy, to live with their grandparents." He explained " I haven't seen them since." He finished.

Maria must be someone important to him. I wonder if he likes her, why the hell am I worrying about his love life. Get it together Cecelia.

"Ahhhh aley!!" A girl in a black dress with black sandals said while running up to him jumping in his arms. He catches her and she wraps her legs around his torso. She leans forward and kisses him, Alejandro doesn't kiss back, but he doesn't pull away either. I made a disgusted face while jealousy ran through me. She's pretty, she has light brown hair but it's up to her shoulders. She has a coke bottle figure, her eyes are a light brown. Her lips are a bit plump and she has long eyelashes.

"Eww" Penelope interrupted the moment, I secretly high five her. She giggled and I chuckled quietly.
"Whose this brat?" Maria said with venom in her voice

"This brat is my lovely sister Penelope." I responded
"And who are you?" She asked clearly annoyed
"I'm Cecelia Rose, Alejandros fiancé. Nice to meet you." I said with a fake smile

"Fiancé? I don't see a ring." She said looking down at my hand. She's right I have no ring. We just made the deal a few minutes ago.

"How about you and Lucas wait for me in the living room, Okay?" He said to Maria, she nodded and walked passed me rolling her eyes. Lucas following close behind carrying all the luggage.

"Bitch" I mumbled quietly as I put down Penelope and told her to go outside and play in the garden.
" Your jealous" he said while giving me the biggest smirk I've seen.
"Jealous? Me? What do I have to be jealous of exactly?" I asked trying to hide my emotions

"She got to kiss me and you didn't." He taunted me like a five year old. I scoffed and said "Now why would I want to kiss you."

"Who wouldn't?" He replied, I was getting tired of his big ego, so I decided to do something rather teasing. "Admit it, Amore, You're jealous." He said.

I slowly walked up to were he was and stopped right in front of him, I was so close to him I can feel his body warmth. I put my arms around his neck and he instantly put his hands on my waist pulling me closer. His entire demeanor changing from taunting to lust. I pulled him down so our faces were aligned, our lips almost touching.

"You're right" I said in a whisper eyeing his lips
"I was jealous, I want you to be mine and only mine." I said while moving my eyes up to meet his. He stared at me, flustered. I moved my lips to his jawline and gave him two kisses making my way up to his ear.

"Is that what you wanted me to admit, Tesoro." I said (Tesoro-Darling). I pulled away, but his grip stayed on my waist "let go" I said giving him a glare.
"Nobody teases me princess and gets away with it." He said, his voice getting deeper.

"Ya we'll see about that." I said grabbing his hands and pushing him off of me. I walked away swaying my hips a bit. I went to the garden to see what Penelope was doing, she was running around chasing a blue butterfly. I played with her for awhile and she fell asleep as we told stories.

I picked her up and took her inside. I made my way to the living room, where everybody was.
I sat down on the sofa and put Penelope's head on my lap. Enrique sat with Lucas and Alejandro sat with Maria.

"Hello love." Enrique said walking up to me, giving me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I said hi back giving him a hug. He sat down next to me putting Penelope's legs on his lap.

"I heard from a little bird, that you and my brother are engaged, since when?" He said confused
"It's a long story I'll explain later." I said knowing a certain snake was listening.

"Okay, well another letter came for you." He said opening his jacket and pulling out the envelope handing it to me. I opened the envelope, but before I can't read the letter Maria snatched it from me.

"Let's see what miss perfect has." She said giving me a evil smile
"Stop give it back, don't read it." I said trying to get it back.

She cleared her throat and read-
"Hello doll, how I miss you. My rose, I want to smell and feel my rose again. I'm coming back for you whether you like it or not. Your mine and only mine. How did Penelope like my little gift?"

I finally got up giving Penelope to Enrique, I took the letter back from her.
"You had no fucking right to do that. This isn't yours and your parents should have taught you manners. Oh I'm sorry I forgot, they were dead before you could read." I yelled at her before storming out and heading out to the garden. I ran until I got the fountain that was in the back of the garden.

I fell to my knees and cried. Damn it, why couldn't I have a normal fucking life. I messed up I shouldn't have said those things to her, I crossed the line. She did as well, she shouldn't have read the letter, damn it he's going to find me sooner or later.

"Cecelia!" Alejandro yelled coming towards me, he looked mad. I quickly stood up and wiped my tears, "why the hell did you say those things to her, you crossed the line. What's wrong with you, using her dead parents as a way to hurt her." He said pissed off

"If your here to fucking defend her then leave I don't want to hear it. She took my personal belongings and put it on display with out my permission." I said trying to defend myself, no one will ever have my back.

"She read a stupid love letter oh well, you threw her dead parents in her face." He said still defending her
"It's not a stupid love letter, it's a threat, it's a warning." I yelled falling to the ground and crying, I don't care if he sees me. I'm scared and no one can save me from this, not even him. I put my knees to my chest and I tucked my head into my knees. I kept crying quietly, I thought I ended my monster a few years ago, but he found a way to continue my torture.

"What do you mean warning?" He asked,
"Don't you know what a warning is?" I said sarcastically. "I do I'm asking who or what is warning you." He said slightly annoyed
"I can't tell you." I said, I can't tell no one, nobody would understand.

"You can trust me Cecelia." He said in a soft tone
"How, how can I trust you." I said in a whisper
"You wouldn't ask me to protect Penelope if you didn't trust me, you wouldn't let me be near her if you didn't. But you do so that has to count for something." He said giving me a small smile.

"You have to promise me you won't tell no one, not even Enrique." I said hesitant to tell him
" I pinky promise." He said holding out his pinky finger, I held out my pinky and wrapped it around  his. He sat down next to me, waiting patiently for me to begin.
