Chapter 3

Fire POV

After we explain to Ranboo, Tubbo and Micheal, Phil decides to send out an all-server call to the Community House. I fiddle with the communicator that appeared on my wrist before when we entered the SMP area, when I press a button and the message pops up on its screen. I frown. Hmm. We walk to the community house, where Techno and I will stay upstairs until everyone is there. I really don't want to meet this many people, especially not all at once, but I have to. I must not let them see. Afterwards, Techno and I will move in, and I'll join the SMP officially. We arrive at the community house and walk upstairs, Jinx, Tommy, Gold, Sunny, Ranboo, Tubbo and Michael going to mingle with the growing crowd, and Phil ready to introduce us. Then it was time. Everyone was here.

"Thank you all for coming. The next thing may be a bit of a shock. You two can come down now!" Phil gestures toward the stairs. It was time. It was time. It was time. My heart is beating so fast, I feel like I might pass out. We walk down the stairs, Techno first, before standing at the bottom. Everyone falls silent, I feel the pressure on my mind grow. I try to block them out.

Then Techno breaks the silence. "TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES, BABY!"

Third Person PoV

Phil sets up a line for people to ask the Blades questions, the two of them sitting down. Fire's panic grows with each question, but they manage to stay calm. Then a family of four is next.

"I'm only here because Blue wanted to meet her cousin," Quackity says, Sapnap nodding beside him. Karl frowns at them, before turning to Fire.

"Hi! I'm Karl. This is Sapnap, Blue, and Quackity, the person who tried to honking blow you up. Blue is part ghost, we adopted her when Revivebur came back and didn't want to take care of her. I'm giving you way too much information, aren't I. Sorry, just excited to meet someone new!"

"H-hi Karl. Hi Blue." Fire smiles at the girl with grey-ish skin, blue hair and a delicate yellow sweater.

"Hi new cousin!" Blue throws her arms around Fire, letting go when they stiffen. She turns to Techno, throwing her arms around him and... accidentally passing through his neck. "Oops. Sorry, Techno. I do that sometimes by accident." The four of them move away, and as the next person comes up, Fire pulls out their sword, flicking it back and forth between their hands.

Fire PoV

Why is my head so loud? Too many people. I have to get out. Too many people. A voice slithers into my headspace. My safe headspace. I shouldn't be able to hear it, asking me- no, telling me to kill them all, starting with sweet, innocent Blue. I should just hear a crowd, a wordless whisper, not words.

I panic, looking toward Techno. "I have to get out of here,"I whisper, hoping to keep the others from hearing.

Techno, seeing the look on my face, nods. "I'll try to keep them from following you. Go! I run out of the community house and into a nearby forest as my eyes turn a brighter, more vivid red. Still in control. You are fine. You can stop this. Then I hear a voice from behind me.

"Wait, Fire? You ok there? You ran out, and I-" Jinx. Pain bursts through my head as all the voices scream at once, drowning out Jinx. WE WANT BLOOD, they chant. WE WANT BLOOD. Tears fall out my eyes as they change to a dark blood red, and I turn to face Jinx, sword in my hand. Then, involuntarily, I leap.

Third Person PoV

Jinx is gone. Techno swears under his breath. They must've followed Fire. Fire would've had a chance befor- He leaps up from his chair, and Phil freezes, looking at him.

"Phil, get everyone in a safe spot. Jinx is gone, and Fir-"

Phil cuts him off. "I can help. Wilbur, Tubbo and Tommy too. And Puffy should come. If Jinx- I've seen you when they-"

"Quickly Phil!"

The seven of them- Ranboo insists on coming to protect Tubbo- follow the blood trail through the forest. There was too little blood to be much of a wound, so Techno guesses it is from Fire's ears bleeding. Fir- He can't think about Fire. The trail is heavy, probably from Jinx running. He knows all too well that Fire probably had broken Jinx's sword, leaving them defenseless. Suddenly an arrow sweeps past him, hitting Tubbo in the arm. He cries out in pain, falling backwards toward Ranboo. Techno leaps forward, seeing them. Fire in the center, eyes blood red, and Jinx dodging their arrows, trying and failing to calm Fire down.

Suddenly a figure appears in front of him. Ranboo. Enderwalking. Tubbo getting hurt must've triggered the enderwalk. And it thinks Fire is a threat. Oh no...

Jinx was exhausted. At first they had tried to fight, confused and not wanting to kill FireBlade- though they probably couldn't. But when they realized that in whatever trance Fire was in, they were much stronger, faster, and fighting to kill, not hurt, Jinx had fought harder. When their sword was broken down to the hilt by the force of Fire's blow, they had run.

Now, as Jinx stumbles over a tree root, their hearts drop with a slash against their back. But then, a dark, tall shadow teleports in front of them. Ranboo. They realized Jinx was gone.

(As/N: Enderwalking Ranboo will be referred to as Enderboo from now on in the story, for ease of remembering.)

Both not themselves. Both ruthless. One protecting, and the other finally broken. At first, neither make any mistakes, but then Enderboo slips, letting Fire nick his shoulder. Then, if it is possible, Fire gets even faster, even stronger. There were... complications, of course.

An arrow hits Revived-bur in the heart, causing him to go *poof*. Soon, both fighters are soaked in blood, from both sides. Fire begins to slow.

Techno, worried, finally is able to relax partly as he sees Fire begin to slow down. "They're going to collapse soon. When that happens, Puffy and Tommy, take care of Jinx's injuries. Tubbo, you're going to have to calm down Ranboo. Phil, d-" Techno is cut off by Fire faltering in an attack, causing a slash to their leg to hit, then falling, unconscious. Techno leaps into the blood-soaked clearing, catching his broken child, and hugging them tight.

"I'll love you forever, I'll love you forever, I'll love you forever," he whispers into their blood-filled ears. A single tear falls down his cheek as Phil wraps both of them in his arms, comforting Techno.

"Let's get the three of them to the hospital. They'll be fine." Phil says. Techno looks up, seeing Ranboo's eyes back to normal, looking horrified at what he had done to Fire... and what Fire had managed to do to him. Then Ranboo passes out from the pain. Techno nods, standing carefully with Fire in his arms.

"Let's go."
