CHAPTER 13 - Her Majesty, The Raiden Shogun

 Blood, screams, tears and fear.

   Lumine had forgotten them.

   She had forgotten the pain and fear of war.

   But she had not forgotten that she was fighting for herself, for her survival, because she was the key to keeping Teyvat safe. With her goal in mind, the warrior did not look away, but threw herself against the world before her.

   Her sword began to whirl, the elements tangled, dancing together. Lumine's eyes were cold and her body was wounded.

   Alone with the last monster that died before her eyes, the young woman looked around. It seemed that she was the last survivor of this small army formed in a hurry. Ignoring the atrocious sight she could see, she continued on her way.

   Like a lost traveler, the blonde took the direction of a camp placed a little further. She was currently in the electro nation. It had been a few weeks since the war started and she had been assigned to Inazuma because it was the hardest area to reach in all of Teyvat.

   That suited her.

   Sitting by a fire, a leaf between his lips whistling to create a sweet melody that seemed to soothe even the pain of war, was a young man with white hair.

   "Kazuha?"

   "He's inside the tent if you're looking for him." He said.

   Kazuha was an extremely gentle man, he was both soothing and strong, something Lumine was a little jealous of. But Lumine loved the presence of the wandering samurai despite the fact that they only knew each other a little.

   "I'd rather leave him alone for a while longer." The young woman replied sitting down next to her comrade grabbing some leftover food that was left.

   "Isn't it getting better?"

   "Kazuha, you know..." A sad smile appeared on Lumine's face. "Since what happened. Since Skirk is... well, since she left us, I feel like I lost him."

   "Lovers aren't destined to always get along."

   "Lovers?!" Lumine blushed putting two hands from her face then laughed before tilting her head and looking away. "I am in love with him, Kazuha. But war does not like those who love each other."

   The rest was silent, Kazuha continued his melody and Lumine listened to him silently sinking gradually into a heavy sleep filled with nightmares and blue eyes.
