Its Saturday!

My day off!

I sat up happily since I was so tired from all the work I had to do last night. I walked toward the closet and decided to wear a white button up with a red sweater and black jeans, brushed my hair and made my bed headed downstairs for breakfast.

Click!

Closing the refrigerator door, I chose to make Eggo waffles and have a glass of Almond milk. Also with a bagel on the side. Which would fill me up.

Then exercise a bit.

I have a big day ahead of me!

Veronica wanted me to go to the bar to hangout with her friends.

Hopefully I don't do anything akward.

Sitting down at the table, I put on my reading glasses I always left there and began reading the same article I did last night.

Shocking. Usually I keep different newspapers around the house. I suppose I brought the one upstairs here. I just don't remember-

BRRRIIINNGGG!

Finishing my meal placing it in the sink, I went to the phone answered asked, " Hello?"

"Where are you?!" The boss barked.

Oh no.

I replied, " At home..."

"Your supposed to be here! I'm giving you a shift tonight so get your ass over here and get to work! Hurry up!"

I squeaked, " Alright! Geesh,"

He yelled, " Don't Geesh me! Bye!"

He clicked the phone shut before I can reply.

"Bye." I muttered putting the phone on the hook headed upstairs to get changed into my uniform.

So much for my day off...

"There you are!"

The boss yelled walking toward me.

I pulled off my coat frantically wailed, " I'm sorry boss! I thought it was my day off!"

He crossed his arms replied, " Well- you work the hardest and get paid the most tonight would possibly be crazy since you handled last night and before that real well I gave you this shift tonight... "

I argued, " But-"

He interrupted, " No buts! Why- got plans? No you don't cause you have a boring non exciting life just like Miss Veronica said!"

I sighed he turned on his heel walked toward his office.
