Without Direction

"Is this really what you want Kay?" he looked unsure, "I mean, are you ready to do this?"

I rolled my eyes as I pulled my hair up into a simple pony tail. "Em- this is going to help us, I promise.. So don't you dare back out on me now."

To be fully honest, I was just as scared as he was, maybe even more.. We had never pushed magic to go this far before..

But I easily pushed aside that fear for the moment, "Are we allowed to borrow Devon's car or not? I need to know if we're going to be walking all the way there."

"Erm.. yeah yeah we just need to uhm.. have it back before he gets off work and notices?" Emry smiled sheepishly. I shouldn't have been surprised to find out that he forgot to ask Devon for the car.

"Whatever, when will that be?" I paused, "Never mind just tell me after we get the car." I had already set off on foot towards their house, "Doesnt he usually leave the keys under the mattress in his room?"

I opened their front door and walked up the stairs. Emry quietly confirmed what I had asked, so I took the keys and made him lead me to the garage.

Once he finally got in the passenger's seat I started the car, peeled out if the driveway and we headed to the woods to begin our adventure.
