"i can't believe the lockdown extended," savannah cried when her and jack's facetime connected.

"i know, we can't even see each other in person now," jack frowned.

"i miss you, i want to give you a hug," savannah frowned as well.

"i miss you too," jack replied.

the new lockdown closed drugstores and almost every grocery store, only leaving a few here and there opened, and restricted people from seeing friends and family.

"what are we gonna do? it's not supposed to end for at least a month," savannah complained.

"we'll be okay sav, i promise," jack reassured her.

"i know, but i just want to kiss you and hug you and cuddle you," savannah frowned.

"i know baby, i want to do all that too, and we'll be able to before we know it," jack smiled.

he was upset as well, but if he showed how upset he was it would only make savannah sadder, so he tried to keep a smile.

"i don't understand why we can't see other people if we're still allowed to go to grocery stores," savannah sighed.

"well it's not that we're allowed too, it only for emergencies and you have to wear a mask and social distance," jack said.

"yeah, yeah, i know, six feet apart," savannah said. "i'm just saying, why can't we see each other if we're wearing masks?"

"well technically we could, we just can't break the six foot distance, which means we can't kiss or hug," jack explained.

"then why don't we meet up? we'll both wear a mask and keep our distance, we can stay outside too, so you know the germs aren't trapped," savannah said, her mood slowly increasing.

"i mean, i guess we could," jack shrugged.

"really?!" savannah perked up.

"yeah, why not? we can meet at the park we had our picnic," jack shrugged, a smile spreading across his face.

"yay! i get to see you!" savannah exclaimed, her smile growing as big as ever.

"could you bring me one of your hoodies?" she asked as she threw her hair in a bun.

"yeah, of course," jack replied.

"cool see you soon," savannah smiled.

"see you," he smiled back.
