Matching Halloween Costumes (Jim Root)

Y/n pov:
"JIM!!!!!" I yell from upstairs. I was looking at Halloween costumes to match with Jim. He has been my friend since the 3rd grade. October 31st is right around the corner and I thought it would be cool to match costumes.

"OH MY GOD Y/N RELAX I WILL BE UP THERE IN SECOND" I heard him yell back and laugh afterwards.

I just yell his name again to annoy him.

I hear him run upstairs and I hide under the bed.

We are currently hanging out at his house. I was just scrolling through pintrest for costume ideas until I had to hurry up and get under his bed.

"Y/n? Where are you?" He says taking a couple steps towards the bed. I just let out a little giggle and he must have heard.

"BOO!!!" He says grabbing the sheet and pulling it up revealing me laying under the bed.

I let out a little squeal and get out from under.

"Anyways what did you need?" He asks casually.

"I was thinking we could do matching Halloween costumes?" I said and smiled.

"We could do that, but what would we go as?" He asks.

I think for a minute...

"We could go as
Groot and bereet from Gardians of the galaxy!" I say

"Alright but I get to go as groot. I'm going to walk around saying I am root" He says and busts out laughing.

I laugh along with him and we soon agree on that.
