Chapter 21

After the fight, Beru and Haru were eating cooked moose meat that Iron 5 made, and it was surprisingly good. On the afternoon, the adult villagers started training with the Irons again. Meanwhile, Haru is teaching his fighting techniques (from Jerrick) to Beru. 'It seems like Beru can only gain one skill from a being he eats.' Haru thought to himself as they train.

~Later~

It is now a little over 2 PM, the monsters are still training with the Irons. "Beru, I want you to tame wolves for the villagers, then come back here got it?." Haru ordered Beru after their training session. "Understood, my Liege." Beru said, then flew away in a random direction. 'I predict that we will arrive at Erboa after sunset, and I already thought of a plan to attack the city.' Haru thought after sitting on his throne. "E-Excuse m-me, my Lo-Lord. May w-we enter?" Haru heard a voice from outside his tent. "Come in." Haru said, then 5 women came in. They were all from the races that were living in the village. "What is your intention of meeting me?" Haru asked with a cold tone, making the women shiver. "W-We request th-that some of u-us should stay h-here and take care of the ch-children." A hobgoblin said with a very shaky voice. ".....Are you worried about your children?" Haru asked. "Y-Yes, my Lord..!" The hobgoblin exclaimed, straightening herself. "....Do you think I care?" Haru coldy said, making the women's eyes widen.

"......You 5 will stay here with 1 hobgoblin, now get out." Haru suddenly said, making the women's eyes filled with hope and relieved. "Thank you very much!!" All of them said at once, then they left the tent. 'Why did I say that..... They're just unimportant monsters anyway.' Haru thought to himself, wondering how his still has some morals. 'Maybe I have a soft spot for children. Yeah.... that's it.' He said to himself, then closed his eyes and focused. Actually, I never addressed how people in that world increase their mana pool right? Well, they can slightly increase their mana by using their skills and also by meditation. Though, the latter method is really rare because only people with an amazing talent in magic can do it. And guess what? Jerrick is a prodigy, and he can use Mana Cultivation. Said skill can absorb mana around the user and take a bit of the absorbed mana as their own. The more high quality the absorbed mana is, the more mana will be added to their mana pool. It can also regenerate spent mana faster.

Haru closed his eyes and started meditating, very slowly increasing his mana pool. After 2 hours of meditation, Beru came back with at least 200 wolves, and luckily, 50% of them were shadow wolves. And there were also a few shadow gale wolves mixed in as well. "Good job Beru. You've done well." Haru praised after walking up to Beru, staring at the army of wolves behind him. "It was fairly easy, my Liege." Beru said, bowing slightly. "Iron 4, call the villagers here." Haru ordered Iron 4 who was standing behind Haru, making him go somewhere. After a few moments, the villagers walked towards Haru and Beru.

~Later~

Haru, the Irons and the villagers, (except those 5, one male and children. There were no elders) rode on their respective wolves, headed towards Erboa. Haru was riding an Electric Rock Wolf that Beru got especially for him. The Irons were riding Shadow Gale Wolves, and since they're made out of mithril, they are lighter than normal juggernauts. The weapons that Haru borrowed from the mithril adventurers were given to the most strongest fighters in the village. In addition, there were the whole colony of monster bees flying above the villagers, but not the Royal Guards (humanoid bees). Also, Beru was nowhere to be seen, where could he be? Find out next time on Dra-. Anyway, they are quickly making their way towards Erboa, and if someone saw them? The Irons or villagers will inform Haru, and he can turn on his PBA and kill them. The Irons are camouflaged with vines, grass, and mud found in the forest, so they couldn't be recognized. After riding on the wolves for 3 hours, with occasional breaks, they could finally see Erboa in the distance.
