Look at the branches on the ground also, not Just on trees. If you found your branch Laying on the ground just pick it up and your gift where you got it.

♧︎︎︎If it is on a tree, you will need pruning shears and a piece of red string or ribbon. If your branch is on a tree, go sit under the tree. Tell the tree that you are grateful to it for growing your wand, and you will take good care of it. Tie the red string around the branch where you will cut it. Hold it out as though it was already a wand, see where the magical energies flow along with the shape. You will have to let your branch dry for a while before you can finish it, then just finish in any way you like. You can see ribbons, stones, crystals or paints, just whatever feels right for you.
