[2] Waking up in the DR

I woke up in a completely different room. I rub my eyes cause they're still tired, and i wanna make sure that whatever i'm seeing is real

"Holy sh!t" i whisper under my breath "where am i?" Suddenly someone opened my door and burst into my room "Hey Alora! I know i'm supposed to knock but i forgot sometimes.. anyway Edmund- oh err we're waiting for you in the dining hall. Breakfast time!"

I just stay silent and stare. I can't believe it, Lucy, Lucy Pevensie was talking to me. Lucy's smile faded and her eyebrows are furrowed "Alora? Are you ok?" I snapped out and said "Uh yeah, i'll be right there, just let me change"

"Sounds great! I'll be waiting in the hall"
Lucy spoked and walked out of my room. I opened the wardrobe and picked out a emerald green dress.

(Like this but emerald green)

I put my hair up into a half up braid with a few hair streaks in front of my face. I sit down on my vanity, still processing that i actually shifted. Then someone nocked on my door.

I opened it to find Edmund "Hey, we're about to eat breakfast. You coming?" He asked "Yea i was about to go"

The whole time while i was eating, i was still processing on what's happening. I actually shifted those words kept going on my mind.

After we finished breakfast, i walk my way to my room, then i feel someone's hand on my shoulder "Hey are you ok? You've been acting weird" It was Susan.

"Yea, sorry just a bit tired i guess?" I answered "Ok? Well Lucy is waiting for you in the library, so you should probably get going" I didn't know the way to the library, but i didn't wanna ask cause i'm a burden "yea of course" i said and started walking even though i don't know where to go"

10 minute passed by and i have not find the library. This castle is big.

*fyi, they're living in the telmarines castle with caspian*

I walk around the corridors and i met Edmund "Hey.. you look frustrated" he said with a teasing smile. I groaned in frustration "I can't find the library and i'm supposed to meet Lucy there"

He chuckled "Seriously? You go there every day and you forgot?" I glare at him "Fine fine i'll show you the way even tho you go there every single day" He said whilst smiling.

Moments later we arrived at the library
"Oh"
"It's beside your room, yes. Can't believe you forgot"
"Look stop blaming me" I defend my self while he giggle "Go inside, Lucy is waiting for you"
I said thanks and went inside.

Lucy notice my presence and turn to me "There you are" I gave her a nervous smile and apologize "Sorry i got lost" She just chuckled "It's fine, its better you come late than not coming anyway" she smiled

2 hours went by and Lucy already read 3-5 books while i only read 1-2. Lucy closed her book and put it on her stack of books "I'm done" She said. I sighed "5 pages left" i mumbled and Lucy giggled

"Can we pleaaaase take a break?" I begged "Sure, i'm gonna go drink some water" she got up from her seat and left.

Peter got in the room and sit on Lucy's seat. I look up at him "Hi?" Peter grind and ask "Do you like Ed by any chance?" My eyes widen "Bye" i said and got up "Oh come onnnn just tell me. I wont tell him i promise"

I turned to him "Ok first of all, you're his brother so you'll definitely tell everything" He role his eyes whilst smiling "You're mad blushing right now" he grinned "Does the name Edmund gave you butterflies?" He teased

"Shut up" i said "Does that mean yes?"
"For heaven sakes Peter, no"

"Is that how you speak to your brother-in law?"

"No—I'm sorry what? Brother-in-law?"
I asked in shock. Did he said brother in law? He chuckled "Yea well you two will probably get marry and i'll be your brother-in-law" A proud smile is printed on his face

"Ok you're going to far" He chuckled again "Welp it was worth a shot. One day you'll tell me that you like him" He said and left the library. I just stayed still.

-Practice field. Afternoon 03:40 P.M.-

I was sitting on the bench, watching Edmund practicing sword fight with Glenstorm. Few moments later, Glenstorm walk away and Edmund start walking towards me and he sit next to me. "So your watching me practicing now?" He said whilst raising an eyebrow and smirking.

"Shut up" I said and looked away not making eye contact and Edmund did the same. He chuckled a little bit "Al you might wanna hide your cheeks if you don't wanna get embarrassed" I furrowed my eyebrows "Why so?"

"Your blushing real hard" My eyes widen and i put both of my palm on my cheeks and stand up "Yea uh i have to go—BYE" and left running.

Why am i embarrassed? I have no idea.
