Chapter 5: Success

Pheonix is back at it! Hello!
(After summoning the griffin):
"Do you even know how to control it?!" Alyx asked, clearly frustrated. 
"Uh- um...yes?" I answered. Alyx glared at me for a second. "You don't?!" She sighed. "It just needs to consume a black rose infused with your energy!"
I stopped for a moment. "And how exactly am I supposed to infuse it with my energy?"
Azul replied, "You dolt! You should be sent back to elementary school! Just focus and surround the black rose with your magick!" I focused so hard it felt like the veins in me were about to pop. But eventually, I got it. As soon as the griffin consumed it, it felt like I was viewing the world through his eyes. As all this was happening, the demon cat broke out of Azul's spell. Alyx used the same spell she had when she rescued me from the spirit dragon and caught the demon cat. Azul sent some flames and had them wrap around the demon cat, trapping it even further. I sent my griffin...and it ripped out the demon cat's 9 hearts.

(By the way, Pheonix is now at 4 hearts).
