When the cold breeze grazed the hot and pale skin of Sherlyn , she took a deep-breathe, shaking her head, standing in the garden infront of Maggie's farm house.

She frantically shook her head to get rid of the image etched in her mind but she knew that no matter what this was going to haunt her innocent mind for days.

"Sherry, where were you? I was searching for you everywhere?" Marcie asked in a concerned tone. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, can we go home now?" Sherlyn asked as she didn't feel like having a conversation with Marcie.

"Sure, give me a minute, I will go and inform Johan, that we are leaving. You sit in the car." Marcie said as dashed inside the house giving keys to her.

"Let's go." Marcie said as she hit the peddle of her car.

"Yes." Sherlyn answered tiredly as she fastened the seat belt.

As Marcie's car drove towards the gates of Maggie's house, Sherlyn found the dark-haired guy standing in the balcony wearing a black half-zipped hoodie over his upper bare body, puffing out the smoke from his cigarette as he watched her.

Sherlyn closed her eyes, having enough for the day.

"Sherry, you look like an angel." Marcie said as soon as she saw Sherlyn walk inside the church compound the following Sunday morning.

"Thanks to you." Sherlyn smiled as she smoothened the white floral sundress, Marcie made her buy in their shopping trip the previous day.

"Let's go and join the others." Marcie said as she pulled Sherlyn with her.

As they entered the prayer hall, Marcie waved at Johan, who smiled brightly at her, standing by the snacks table. Sherlyn smiled looking at the young lovers.

Sherlyn turned around as she felt a penetrating gaze from her right. As she turned around she found the guy from the party leaning against the pillar wearing jeans and a crisp white button up shirt, with sleeves rolled up to his elbow giving a faint glimpse of his tattoos. He was looking at her very intently that it made Sherlyn feel conscious.

"Hey handsome." The blonde girl from party said, as she walked towards the guy, momentarily distracting him, for which Sherlyn felt happy.

She walked to join Marcie and Johan, as the boy continued to flirt with the girl from party.

"Hey Ardeth, can you get a table from the Church's store room? We need one here." Johan, who was serving the snacks asked, the guy from the party.

"Sure, Man." Ardeth said as he walked towards the backdoor.

"That's Ardeth Sky, he goes to the same college as of us, and blonde is Diane." Marcie whispered to Sherlyn, who was looking in the direction, Ardeth left. "Typical bad boy, stay away from him." She continued but Sherlyn didn't pay attention as she watched Diane discreetly slip through the crowd towards the backdoor, the same way Ardeth left in.

"Excuse me." Sherlynn mumbled as she hurriedly walked towards the back door of the Church, "There is no way I am going to let you people commit a sin in a sacred place." She huffed as she pushed open the backdoor and ran towards the store rooms.

"Ahh... It's so big, mmm...slowly..." Diane moaned as Sherlynn stood infront of the closed doors of store room, wide eyed.

"Stop it!" Sherlynn shouted as she pushed open the doors feeling absolutely livid.

"Ouch... What the hell!" Diane cried as she stumbled and fell to the ground.

"What the hell are you doing?" Sherlynn demanded as she looked at Diane, who was trying to get up from the floor.

"We are carrying the table out of the room. Didn't Johan ask that infront of you, have you gone deaf?" Diane scolded as she dusted her dress.

"But..." Sherlynn stuttered feeling embarassed to approach the topic, "I heard you shout."

"Off course, the table was big and heavy, I was saying Ardeth to move slowly, so that we could get it out." Diane rolled her eyes.

Sherlynn's cheeks heated up in embarassment as she watched Ardeth bite on his lower lip trying hard to stifle his laughter.

"Because of you, I got dirt on my dress, Stupid girl." Diane groaned as she dashed away from the room.

"You have a very dirty mind, Chèrie." Ardeth laughed once they were alone.

Sherlyn noticed that he has a very beautiful smile that reached his blue eyes making them shine, the skin crinkled at the corners of his eyes as he laughed.

Sherlynn ran away from him as her face felt hot with embarassment.

"Where have you been?" Marcie asked as Sherlynn stood beside her.

"Just looking around." Sherlynn mumbled as she watched Ardeth carry in the tables with the help of Johan.

"Let's go." Marcie said and Sherlyn nodded.

As everyone sat down for their prayers, Sherlyn watched Ardeth walk to the corner of the prayer hall where a grand piano was kept, he winked at Sherlyn, making her gasp, before he began to play the piano, as the choir sang.

Sherlynn laid in her bed, as she watched the full moon and stars from her window.

She remembered the way Ardeth's gaze kept following her all the morning in the Church, where ever she moved. He kept on watching her even when he was flirting with Diane, who was rubbing herself against him in the parking lot.

Never in her Eighteen years of life, had Sherlynn came across a handsome badboy like Ardeth, may be because back in South fields she was too shy to even look at the boys. But Ardeth, something about him screamed danger, not to forget he is a skirt-chaser.

Sherlynn remembered Marcie's words to stay away from Ardeth Sky.

Sherlynn shook her head trying to get away the image of Ardeth Sky, as she tossed and turned in her bed, humming the tune that Ardeth played in the Church that morning.
