{Matte Black Ferrari}

Third Person P. O. VThe bell rang signaling the end of the school day. Cole stood up taking his bag and putting away his belongings before zipping it close. He walked out of class and joined his friends who were chilling obviously waiting for him and Xavier.
They were never that close before but things change, people change and so does life. They were not his friends but with time they all grew close and certain circumstances pushed them, making them closer almost depending on one another, creating a brotherly bond amongst the friends. Truth be told, Nick, Cole's former best friend or soon to be was the real reason the group of friends met, he was the glue or mutual friend so to say. Nick so happened to also be the cousin of Xavier, the closest thing Cole has to best friend now and perhaps a 'good' brother. Nick no longer hanged out with the group of friends consisting of Xavier, Michael, Ricky as well as Cole, but the rest of the guys still made an effort to include Cole in activities leading to the close friendship they now have. But the fact that it's been 4 years knowing each other could have something to do with it.
Cole is not exactly the social type, the only sociable person in the group beside Nick is now Michael. Although some people have tried to befriend Cole he actually preferred solitude than to be with people whom a majority of them thought he was a freak. Why they think he is a freak is no mystery but still a heartbreaking tale. Nick was the first genuine friend he had, he gave Cole the hope that maybe, just maybe, even he deserves to be loved. Cole was not gay, not anymore, and also gay means happy, he loved his friend but he was not bisexual or anything like that but Michael is and he is cool with it. His friends have not problem with it at all but not many people accept him for it including most of his family members.
Cole was always one to wonder why Michael's family believes it's wrong, they have criticized him so much for his sexual orientation. Though they are all just a bunch of misfits trying to find a place to call home. In reality or at least in Cole's opinion, no one is normal, perfection is the facade society has created to shut everyone else who did not meet their standards, normal is boring and overrated in the opinions of the four friends.
Ricky is the shy one in the group, he is not mysterious but a lot is unknown to his friends but as time goes on more will be revealed. There are reasons behind his closed off personality and the walls he has put up that ultimately allowed him to be a better judge of character.
The friends all made their way to Cole's Matte Black Ferrari as they usually did, at times they would carpool in Xavier's car which was also the same as Cole's. That was one thing they had in common out of many as well as their parents financial status, which was obvious to figure out after seeing their cars, both had rich parents, millionaires to be exact. It made it easier for them to relate to one another as they astonishingly had many similarities. Cole's parents were loaded, it was a generational, passed down from his great grandparents was the successful business they put their blood and sweat into. The life's work of those great grandparents, hotels and restaurants passed to their kids who grew the business with risky sacrifices. The business was soon passed to Cole's parents who have even went on to the fashion industry as a result of the partnership they have with Xavier's family. Nick's parents were the ones to establish the partnership but it grew with the help of Xavier's parents who were great influences in the industry and that was originally how Xavier and Nick met Cole, through a family business.
And one would think Cole had a lonely childhood with parents who drowned themselves in their work. Thinking he was neglected and that he was popular because of his parents' financial status but on the contrary that was not the case. Far from it in reality.
