Shotaro had join to train the mafia before the Wayv members came. He officially became a made man as the midnight 12am clock strikes, indicating that was a good time.
Yuta, whose also a Japanese member, had become really close with Shotaro. Before him, Yuta was the only Japanese member in the mafia.
He was the one who trained Shotaro, since Taro isn't 100% fluent in understanding Korean nor most importantly, English. Taeyong had no deal with it.
