                                              I used to drown 
In the darkness
I tried to swim
But wherever I go
My sins
Kept holding me down
                          They were swallowing me
Blinding me
Leaving my heart
Helpless and torn
                          Until I found you
I slowly started to see
The lights
Coming through the storm
Welcoming me
As I let it enter my soul
Purifying my dead heart
