Lizzie flew up next to Stiles as he gently set down a car that was thrown off a highway.
"Where have you been?" Stiles asked as they both flew away.
"I thought it was better if we both got space from each other," She said, not exactly lying or telling the whole truth,"I did try to sleep with you."
Stiles winced,"Yeah," He mumbled awkwardly,"I have to go," Stiles suddenly said, realizing what time it was.
"Where?" Lizzie asked in confusion.
Stiles gave her a look.
"Right, sensitive personal life," Lizzie said.
Stiles rolled his eyes as he took off towards the Daily Planet.
As Stiles landed on the roof and zoomed down the stairwell, changing into his day clothes and glasses he noticed something was off with Hope, she seemed angry about something.
"Hey," Stiles said, walking towards her, and she crossed her arms and continued to stare out the window angrily,"Alright, I'm gonna guess that means something bad," He commented, as Hope turned to face him finally.
"You know who I am," She said, and it wasn't a question.
"Yes, Lois. I know that you're a reporter and a casual workplace friend," Stiles replied, trying to play it off.
"You know that's not what I'm talking about," Hope growled and her eyes flashed yellow, and Stiles didn't even flinch.
Sighing, Stiles took off his glasses and rubbed his brow before putting them back on.
Stiles nodded towards the elevator and she nodded in agreement and they both exited the building, and just walked down the street both of them remaining silent for a long time.
"There was a lot of supernatural stuff where I'm from," Stiles said,"Stick around it long enough you learn a thing or two. Like who the daughter of the infamous Klaus Mikaelson is."
"Did you know the whole time?" Hope asked.
Stiles nodded.
"And what... did you think it'd be funny to just lie to me the whole time?" Hope asked bitterly.
"No," Stiles said immediately,"No, of course not. I was trying to respect your privacy. If you just walk up to someone and expose their secret, they'll most likely not act kindly to that. I wanted you to trust me, and if you did enough, would you have told me?" He asked her.
Hope looked at Stiles with sad eyes,"I guess we'll never know."
Stiles nodded sadly,"When I was a kid I was the human that ran with wolves. But then they thought a human was too weak to be in their pack. So they kicked me out, I was pretty bad for a bit but I got better, I finished school, traveled the world a bit and now here I am. A reporter at the Daily Planet working alongside someone who could be the most powerful person on the planet," Stiles said.
"I'm pretty sure that title still belongs to the Blur," Hope said, and she looked around the street as if he was watching, completely unaware that he was standing right next to her.
Hope looked back toward Stiles,"So, you're completely human?"
"Yeah, no super healing, magic incantations, fangs, none of it," Stiles replied, shrugging.
"Can you prove it?" Hope asked.
Stiles thought for a moment then nodded, and from his pocket he pulled out what looked like a test tube from a lab filled with black dust.
