the girl's hand was on the boy's chest. she had flushed cheeks and a jittery stomach as she played with the strings of juyeon's dark green hoodie. the boy quiet as his focus was on her.

"you know, i've never cuddled with someone before."

juyeon who was running a hand through her hair stopped, his long fingers entangled in her soft light brown locks. "are you serious?"

"mhm. i haven't done a lot of things before actually."

"like what?" she could hear the curiosity in his voice.

loey sighed as she buried her head deeper into his soft hoodie. "well i've never been on a date, i've never had my first kiss, i've never had a girlfriend, never cuddled, and i've never done it."

he knew what she was referring to.

"ah, well if it makes you feel any better," he laughed a bit. "i've only ever done those things with one person, and they're long gone out of my life now."

loey remained quiet as she continued to play with his hoodie strings. after walking down to his old truck in silence, still holding hands, he made an awful joke as he opened the car door for her to enter. the two then continued on to drive to 'their spot' as juyeon had put it, while relaxing music played in the background.

and during that time, his hand was still hovering over hers. as if the boy was afraid of her leaving his side. as his eyes were narrowed down at the road, loey kept staring at him.

juyeon's dark blue hair seemed a bit messier than usual, he was bare faced, wearing a dark green hoodie, and black sweats. he looked comfortable as a small grin appeared on his lips.

"do you like staring that much? it's been 10 minutes."

his eyes flickered over to make eye contact with loey as she suddenly looked away, also taking her hand out of his grasp.

"shut up simp."

"you're one to talk."

her entire face felt like it was on fire. "yeah well, um, never mind."

she heard laughter coming from the boy, one that sounded so sincere it make her heart skip a beat. she took a small glance back at him before moving her eyes to the road again. they had some small talk before arriving at 'their spot' and him pulling over.

it was quite chilly at 4 am. both of them jumped into the back as juyeon opened the sliding window to reach for his bag from inside, then grabbing loey's for her. in silence both of them laid out the blankets before staring at each other with a 'now what' face.

juyeon was the first to lay down on the blankets, turning to pat the space next to him. ignoring the weird sensations she was feeling, she laid down next to him. they laid side by side when he turned his head to face her.

"can i...hug you?"

loey didn't say a word as she nodded her head. she shifted her body closer before pausing and looking at his face.

"can i...hug you too?"

the boy laughed again, the girl feeling her heart melting the more she heard it. it was quite awkward at first, for the both of them. only being the second time they have met, they weren't 100 percent comfortable around each other, but there was room to grow.

loey hesitantly put her head on his chest as the the boy wrapped an arm around her shoulders, the other reaching up so he could play with her hair. silence indulged the two as they enjoyed each other's presence, both content by it. they had remained in silence for about 15 minutes, when loey suddenly broke it, and told him how that was the first time she has cuddled with someone.
