He was sitting in the corner of the room with his hands wrapped around his legs. Everyone was busy celebrating their birthday in the lawn of the orphanage. His 4 years old self was upset because he hadn't met that lady since many days.

The innocent kid had got so attached to the lady. He was so scared when he first came to the orphanage. But after a few days, a pregnant woman had come to meet the children of the orphanage.

She had opened up the orphanage to help the kids who needed shelter and love. But when her eyes fell on the little boy, she immediately felt connected to him.

He looked at her with his big innocent eyes and she smiled warmly at him. He felt less scared and smiled for the first time after coming to the orphanage. She had caressed his hair and dropped a kiss on his forehead.

But he had not seen her since a last few weeks and that was the reason he was upset. It was everyone's birthday in the orphanage. As the kids in the orphanage were unaware about their own birthday, the lady had decided that everyone's birthday would be celebrated on the same day.

But this was the first time that he saw this day in the orphanage. He didn't want to be a part of any celebration. He rested his head on his knees and tears rolled down his chubby cheeks.

He wiped the tears with his little fingers and started sniffling. He soon felt a warm hand caressing his head. He looked at the person with his chocolate brown eyes and finally smiled through his tears.

"Did my Ishaan miss me?"

He immediately nodded in a yes, making her smile at his innocence. He got up and hugged her but then he realised that her bulging belly had magically disappeared. She patted his head and he separated from her.

"Why is your stomach so flat? Last time it was so huge."

Aleema Baig chuckled at his innocent doubts. She bent down and sitting on her knees before him, she held his hands.

"My stomach was big because a pretty baby girl was living inside me. She had decided to come out before a few weeks and now, my stomach is as before."

Little Ishaan nodded as if he understood everything.

"Why aren't you celebrating your birthday?"

He looked down as if he had performed a mischievous act but the truth was that he didn't want to celebrate it. Aleema understood it and smiled.

"I have a little surprise for you."

He immediately looked at her with curiosity filled in his eyes. She smiled seeing him and cupped his face.

"Ishaan, you are my first child. I want you to stay with me. Even now when I have a daughter, I miss you. I want to raise you like my own little child. I would be very happy if you will come to me to my House."
