Kakashi Hatake... The Uzumaki thought. I haven't seen him in three years.
"Meet me up on the roof." With that the jonin sensei was engulfed in a puff of smoke and disappeared.
"Ughhhhh. He made us wait all this time and now he's making us go to the roof?!" Sakura complained.
"If you can't even walk up to the roof how do you expect to complete any missions?" Naruto mumbled under his breath. Just like his sensei, Naruto disappeared, leaving a cloud of smoke in his place.
"It's been a while Naruto." Kakashi said without looking up from his book.
"About three years right old man?" Naruto smirked.
"I'm not old! Stop calling me that!" Kakashi exclaimed with an angry eye.
"Fine, pervy sensei then." Naruto joked.
"Just call me by my name. Is that too hard to do?" Kakashi said annoyed.
"Looks like I still get on your nerves sensei." Naruto made his way to a step on the stairs and sat down. His other two team mates sat to his right, Sasuke being between Naruto and Sakura.
"Ok, it's time to introduce yourselves." Kakashi said.
"What are we supposed to say? Can you go first?" Sakura asked.
"Alright." Kakashi said, contemplating what to say. "My name is Kakashi Hatake. I'm the kind of person who doesn't feel like talking about his likes and dislikes! My dreams for the future are none of your business... but anyway, I have lots of hobbies..."
"He barely even told us anything." Sakura whispered.
"Ok it's your turn blondie." Kakashi said as if he didn't know Naruto since he was born.
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki and I like onigiri and ramen! I especially like when Guy or Iruka sensei take me to Ichiraku ramen and buy me all the ramen I can eat. What I hate is not really relevant. My dream is to become the strongest shinobi in the world and prove to my parents that I turned out ok even with all the odds against me. My hobbies are training and learning how to cook." Naruto said enthusiastically.
Wow this kid really is food oriented. Kakashi internally sighed.
"Ok you next gloomy." Kakashi said.
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. There are plenty of things that I hate, but I don't see that it matters, considering there is almost nothing I do like. It seems pointless to talk about 'dreams'... that's just a word... but what I do have is determination. I plan to restore my clan. And there is someone I have sworn... to kill." Sasuke said, bringing a depressing mood over the group.
Well I guess that that wasn't all the surprising. Kakashi thought.
"Alright pinky you're up." Kakshi said, pointing to Sakura.
"I am Sakura Haruno. My favorite thing is... well it's not a thing, it's a person. A boy... and that boy is... uh... let's move on to my dream." Sakura turns bright red and starts to giggle. "I hate... Naruto! My hobbies are..."
"Ok! I think we've had enough!" Kakashi said, interrupting the annoying kunoichi. "Training begins tomorrow."
"What kind of mission did we get sensei?" Naruto asked.
"It isn't a mission, it'll be survival exercises." Kakashi answered.
"But we did plenty of those at the academy! Why do we need to do it all again?" Sakura said.
"This is something entirely different because you'll be going against me. Call it a test if you will." Kakashi responded.
"A test-?" Sakura still seemed confused.
