"Why would we keep bothering with small, low profile vampires when we should keep going after the bigger nests—like Bane's! The more we go after these big nests, the bigger difference we make—" Taehyung argued, his anger wasn't as potent as usual, but it still irritated everyone on the team because they were growing tired of the unnecessary arguments between Taehyung and Jungkook.

Jungkook looked at him, his dark eyes narrowing a bit as he only waited a moment—not too long because he knew how maddingly impatient humans were, "We can't continue to attack bigger nests every night because we have to allow our team to rest." He glared at Taehyung when he rolled his eyes at him, "Seokjin isn't completely himself yet—"

"The rest of us can pull the weight!" Taehyung spoke louder in exasperation and Jungkook had to mentally remind himself that he couldn't argue with a human by threatening him with his fangs or his black eyes or else it would go very, very wrong. He was quickly losing his patience and Taehyung continued, "We need to find Hades soon before he finds us first—"

"I'm not worried about Hades. If he wants to do us the favor in coming to us then that's a win." Jungkook shot back and Taehyung was ready to interject but Namjoon spoke before he could.

"We'll get to him eventually. There's no rush!" Namjoon shrugged, trying to ease the tension in the mood. "Either way Hades must know something about us, so eventually our paths will cross."

"He isn't stupid. He must know about us going after him with the trail of vampire bodies we've left, well not literally since we have to burn them, but we've taken down enough nests. He has to know that we are responsible for the rise in vampire deaths." Jimin frowned lightly, his nerves spiking a bit at the thought of the dangerous vampire.

Seokjin was a bit bothered that the human would assume he couldn't pull his own weight, but he decided to ignore it for the sake of the team. He could smell how anxious each of them became, and he didn't want to feed into it, "Don't you two ever get sick of arguing? Seriously, if I could get a headache, I would have one every time we step foot in this house." He couldn't focus on anything but the way that Taehyung and Jungkook glared at one another; it was tiring, and Seokjin just stared at the two of them.

Yoongi and Hoseok shared an annoyed glance before they looked at Taehyung and Jungkook. "I'm not worried about Hades, but can we just get on with the night? I have a shit ton of homework I still need to do." Yoongi sounded as annoyed as the rest of them looked weary and eventually they headed out for the night.

They had gone to another abandoned warehouse, but as they got out of the van and Namjoon passed everyone their weapons, Jungkook looked at them with a worried expression. It was faint but Taehyung could identify when the vampire was agitated, "There's too many." He whispered as he looked at he humans, "Maybe Seokjin and I should go in alone until—" he tried to strategize but of course, Taehyung couldn't make it easy for him.

"Absolutely not." Taehyung whispered back and Jungkook grew visibly annoyed as the human gripped onto his gun, "We're a team, a messy one but still a team so we all go in together." He whispered even softer, and the vampires glanced at each other with uncertain expressions.

Seokjin hesitated as he listened carefully to the sounds of the vampires they would target that night. "Can't just trust us, can you, blood bag?" His red eyes met the human's brown ones, but he smiled while Taehyung only shrugged.

"Please, no more fighting." Yoongi practically begged, and the rest of them seemed to agree while Taehyung stayed quiet.

"Stay together." Jungkook eventually ordered because he knew arguing would lead them no where. Taehyung didn't trust him, and there was nothing he could do to change that.
