~Her secret~

It was a normal day for Ishigami village as the chief Ishigami Senku once again was working on the recreation of some invention from the per petrification era. His goal was to restore humanity with the power of science. To fix what Wyman sought to destroy, and he was doing pretty well for haven only been de-petrified for two and a half years. Though this progress was only possible due to a certain Lioness that he found. Kohaku, the warrior queen of Ishagmai village, the woman who had become his best friend and equal within a few weeks. Currently it is winter and the stone war is almost upon us and the people of Ishigami village; were doing their assigned duties for the kingdom of science. We started our journey with Kohaku who had just finished training with Kinro and Ginro.

Kohaku's P.O.V.
I had just finished training with the boys and I was pleased with their progress. Ginro had started taking his training more seriously and because of that he was making some vast improvement.

"You two did great today. Take a five minute rest and return to your post or see if Kasaki needs any help ok?" I said. They nodded, settling down for a cool down. I turned away to go see Ruri and to check on my little miracle. I walked past the busy villagers across the bridge and all the way to Ruri's temple where I came across Turquoise and Jasper who were standing guard.

"Hello Kohaku-hime are you here to visit?" Asked Jasper happily.

"Yes I am," I said calmly, watching as they smiled at me, before they stepped to the side and let me through. I walked up the stairs to see Ruri and my father playing with my little mericle. The light of my life was there sitting on the floor playing with a rattle and stuffies giggling all the while.

"Hello sweetheart," I called, watching as my mericle turned to look at me before squealing as she stood up on shaky legs and wabbled over with a cry of "Mama" I smiled before leaning down to pick up my little girl. I smiled looking at her crystal blue eyes as she babbled to me about her toys.

It was so cute. I loved my baby girl with her short white blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. She was a carbon copy of me, something that I am eternally thankful for. I stayed with them for a few hours playing and cuddling my baby with all the love and affection I had. After a few hours she had fallen asleep and I walked to her crib and placed her there before covering her up. I kissed her on the head and whispered.

"Good night my light I love you," before I walked out of the room and towards Senku to see what he needed help with. I still felt guilty that I hadn't told him about my child but with the stone war coming the less people know the better, I didn't want Lapis to be targeted.

~His Curiosity~

It was a normal day for Ishigami Senku as he was once again knee deep into the next stepping stone in returning humanity to its former glory and better.

Senku P.O.V.
I was in the middle of mixing some chemicals to help with the creation of the phone when I saw the lioness walking back to the village yet again. For as long as I've known her she has always spent a few hours in the late morning in the village. I had asked Chrome once what she was doing. He acted nervous but told me that she was spending time with her family. I knew for a fact that Kohaku and her father didn't see eye to eye because her father gave up on Ruri's survival. And Kohaku hates him for trying to make her Ruri's replacement.

So I had followed her one day and saw her with her family though I was sidetracked by Kasaki who had something to show me. I took a few hours to go through everything he had prepared for me. I tried a few more times only to be thwarted again and again. Though I wasn't surprised seeing as I always had shitty luck. I waited a few hours and like clockwork she returned and we went back to work. By the time we were done it was supper time; so we sat down and ate before turning in for the night. The next day was supposed to be the day we finish the cell phone. Hopefully it went without a hitch.

....But then again I have no luck so who knows what will happen.
