Kohaku's P.O.V.
It was midday when I got back from the village. It had been a calm morning and I was hoping for it to be calm the rest of the day. I went to work helping Senku with the heavy lifting and handing him the tools he needed to finish the cell phone. We were finishing it in the lab in an effort to keep it a secret from any spies that may be in the area. When there was a commotion as Jasper came running into the lab as if the hounds of hell were at his heels.
"Jasper what's going on? Why did you run in here?," Asked Senku seriously. Jasper gasped in an effort to catch his breath before speaking.
"Kohaku. Lapis is missing, we've searched all over the village and the outer area. We found a note on the bridge. They took her!" Said Jasper in a rush holding out the note to me. I ripped it out of his hand reading it.
*We have something of yours People of Ishigami village. Surrender and you just may get her back alive.*
I crumpled the note in anger before walking out only to be stopped by Senku who had read the note over my shoulder.
"What!" I snapped.
"Who did they take?" is all he asked.
"They took Lapis," I said as calmly as I could. The male looked confused.
"I haven't met anyone named Lapis in this village. Who is she?" He asked. I looked at him with an unreadable expression.
"Lapis is a two year old little girl, and...." I trailed off in a mumble causing him to raise an eyebrow at me.
"What was that last part?" He asked.
"Lapis is a two year old little girl, and my daughter," I said clearly watching as his eyes widened before he turned, grabbing some stuff from the shelfs of the lab.
"Senku, what are you doing?" I asked.
"Grabbing stuff to help rescue Lapis. Kohaku, you and I are going to go get Lapis back," The red eyed male said confidently though there was a dark undertone to his voice that gave away how pissed off he was. I smiled psychotically before going to get extra weapons and bandages in incase my baby was hurt. I came back just as Senku was giving orders to the villagers leaving Gin and Chrome in charge while they were gone.
"Let's go if we start now, we should be there in a few hours," The male said, making me shake my head at him. He looked at me slightly irritated but before he could ask why I was shaking my head. I whistled and a moment later there the only thing that was heard were the roars of pride. Within minutes a pride had appeared. Senku looked at the pride as they circled me purring happily.
"You really are a Lioness," He said surprised. I glared at him slightly before beckoning him over. He came over cautiously, causing me to smile. I invited him to let them sniff his hand. He did and they accepted him after a few minutes. I got on the male lion's back, Senku following my lead and joining me.
"Let's go Kiwi," I said and they took off tracking Lapis's scent. Our travel time had been cut in half. So we got there before dark only to see Hyoga holding a screaming Lapis by her leg. I glared a growl coming from deep in my throat. Senku glared chillingly at the leader of the empire of might.
"Hyoga don't hold her like that you'll hurt her!" Shouted Yuzuriha angrily. Tsukasa nodded, going to take the child from his right hand. Hyoga gladly gave him the child.
"Where did you find this little one?" He asked.
" I found her in the woods by the village, and assumed that she had been abandoned by those primates," He lied smoothly watching as his leader's gaze darkened.
