Noah's POV
I sighed bored as I watched the mortals do their mundane tasks without a care in the world. As centuries carried on, their belief in the gods and goddesses has diminished leaving only a handful of believers left. As I kept observing my eyes stopped on a certain mortal at the altars of mine and the other gods and goddesses. He left offerings at each one and quietly prayed for good health not for himself but for his mother. That surprised me as mortals nowadays are selfish and cold to one another. This mortal is unique...maybe I shall pay him a visit
(M/N)'s POV
After I prayed for mother's health once again I left the altar with a feeling as if I was being watched. Hopefully it's the gods and goddesses looking down upon me and fulfilling my wish to heal her. She's been sick for years and I could never find a cure for her but I've never gave up. As I looked back at the altars I could've sworn I saw someone there but I turned again they disappeared. Maybe I'm daydreaming, but little do I know this dream will soon become a nightmare.
*That Night*
Noah's POV
I waited until the mortal fell asleep until I descended into his room. I got a closer look at him and I was in awe. His (H/C) hair shined in the moonlight and his (S/N) skin looked so soft that the gods and goddesses themselves would envy him. I only got to see his (E/C) eyes which shone like jewels in the sunlight. I felt myself blushing at the sight on the sleeping mortal. Have I already become smitten with him? I gently stroke his cheek and he stirs in his sleep. Even his movements are adorable to me...Good heavens I'm in love with the humans who's name I don't even know! I sigh as I leave his room to find his ill mother's room right down the hallway. I go inside and I see a sickly woman laying in the bed, flowers nearby which almost brighten the death filled room. I approach her and she slowly opens her lifeless eyes the same (E/C) as the human. "Are you here to take me away?" She softly says weakly raising a hand towards me. I slowly shake my head holding her hand. "No (Y/M/N), I'm here to heal you, your son's prayers and offerings have reached me and I've come to do my part" She tears up and smiles. "(M/N) has always been such a good boy, he always thinks of others first before himself" So his name is (M/N) what a lovely name for a lovely mortal. "I see his generosity and kindness has reached me and my fellows gods and goddesses as good things will come for him. Now please close your eyes." She closes her eyes and I begin to heal her. As I finish healing her I let go of her hand. "The healing is done but I require one thing from you" She looks at me confused. "What would you like?" She politely asks. I smile and point to (M/N)'s room. "I want your son's hand in marriage"
(Y/M/N)'s POV
I could only look at him in fear. He wants my son?! "I-I can't give you my son! No...I won't give you my son! He's not some possession you can keep!" He looked at me with such rage that it shook me to my core. "I will give you one month with him and after the last day, I will come for him and take him as my lover. You or him cannot escape me as I can see your every move. Break this condition not only will I take him by force but I will take away my blessing from you leaving you to the empty husk you once were. Do I make myself clear?" I could only nod and he disappears from my room. Oh my dear (M/N) I'm sorry that I cannot protect from that monster disguised as a god. I looked at (M/N)'s room before I cried myself to sleep.
*Next Day*
(M/N)'s POV
I slowly woke up and stretched only to be hit by a wonderful smell. "Wait...(F/B/F)! Only mother knows how to make it!" I quickly got out of bed and headed to the kitchen and I saw my mother cooking. "How...are you cured?!" I hugged her tightly crying. "The god Celestial heard your prayers and has blessed me but with a condition" She softly said while rubbing my head. I looked at her confused. "What does he want?" She starts to cry which worried me more. "He wants...you my dear...he want to wed you and take you away. You only have a month and if we break the rule he'll take you away by force and make me go back to my ill form." She holds me tightly crying as I could only listen in shock and fear. "I-I don't want to go! But I can't leave you ill..." "This is your choice my dear...if you don't want to go than don't, I'll be fine as long as your happy." I could only cry and hold her tightly. I won't go...I don't care if he forces me I won't go!
Noah's POV
I watched my dear (M/N) and his wretched mother hold each other and cry. Why is he crying? This is an opportunity many mortals would dream of yet he doesn't want to leave. Maybe that's why I love him, he's so different...and infatuating. I will have him one way or another.
No One's POV
Soon the days passed as the month came to a close and the god descended down to claim his mortal.
(M/N)'s POV
I watched as Celestial came down from the heavens and stood in front of me smiling as he holds his hand out. "Are you ready to go my dear?" I shake my head and stand next to my mother. "I'm not going with you, I want to be with my mother" He looked absolutely furious when I said that as he step closer to the both of us. "You don't get a choice, you belong to me after I healed that wench you call a mother!" He snarled and I slapped him in the face. "Don't you dare call her that you monster!" He looked at me in shock but than he started to laugh maniacally. "Oh my dear that wasn't a wise choice now you have to be punished~" He grabbed my mother by the throat quickly snapping it. I fell to the ground in tears as he threw her body like it was trash. He looked at me as he picked me up. "This wouldn't have happened if you just agreed, I could've made an offer so you can visit her from time to time but you had to be selfish and think about yourself." I cried and shook my head. He only sighed and kissed my head as we started to ascend to the heaven. He grabbed my chin to make me look at him as he said
"Don't underestimate my power my love or you'll face the consequences~"
