No One's POV
Angels and demons have always had a hatred between each other. One basks in the light, the other dwells in the darkness. One side seen as saviors while the other sinners. But can we really say which is which?
Ciel's POV
I let out a sigh as I wipe the blood off myself from my last victim. Their disgusting screams still linger around me as I look at their once exuberant body now an empty husk. "Splendid job once again Ciel" I turned to Lu who walked towards me along with Elesis who was licking the blood of her hand. I merely nod and walk away from the body and that's when I see a light shine  from the heavens. "Tsk they arrived earlier than expected" I mumble as I see two angels descending to the ground. I already recognized Elsword  as we ran into him more times than I'd like but the other one must be new. "Elsword..." Elesis said, her eyes showed a bit of sadness as she saw her younger brother who looked at her with disappointment. He turned away and went to the body looking at the (H/C) angel. "(M/N) gather the soul of the poor human while I talk to these demons." Elesword requested as (M/N) nodded and started to chant a prayer. (M/N) huh..such a lovely name...such delicate (S/C)...shimmering (E/C) eyes...and his (H/C) looks soft to the touch. Why do I want to know more about him...demons can't love an angel, it's taboo...right? "Now for the last time, cut down the killing, I'm sick of coming down here every two hours just to see your disgusting faces." My thoughts were cut off by Elsword speaking to Lu. "My my~ an angel complaining the world must be ending" Lu replied with a cackle  making Elsword even more upset. "U-Um Elsword I got the soul!" (M/N) says gently holding the harvested soul in his delicate hands. He turned to (M/N) giving him a gentle smile and a pat on the head. "Wonderful dear (M/N), now let's go" Elsword and the (H/C)-ette spread their wings and slowly ascended back to the heavens but (M/N) looked down at me making my heart beat a little. I kept looking the sky until Elesis hit the back of my head causing me to glare at her. "Come on daydreamer we're leaving" she said walking towards Lu. I follow her rubbing the back of my head as my heart started to beat more as I thought of that cute angel.
(M/N)'s POV
Me and Elsword finally arrived back to our sanctuary where I see my good friends Ara and Chung waiting for me. I give the soul to Elsword who gives me a nod and flies to the divine hall so the soul of the human can be turned into a angel. "Ara! Chung!" I quickly soar to them giving them big hugs. "Woah! You almost made us fall" Ara said with a laugh. "Yeah your getting stronger everyday (M/N)" Chung pipes in smiling. I blush and shake my head. "Compared to the both of you, I'm weaker" I say with a small laugh which makes both Ara and Chung frown. "Hey you're not weak, if you were than Elsword wouldn't have chosen you to accompany him" Chung states as Ara nodded in agreement. "Well...that is true maybe I am getting stronger" I blissfully thought as I smile at the duo. "So wanna get parfaits as a treat to celebrate?" Ara asks and my eyes gleam once she asked. "Of course! Let's go!" I exclaim dragging them both to Angel's Bakery to get a tasty (F/V) parfait.
Ciel's POV
As I take a sip of my drink at the bar I slowly start to think of (M/N) once again. I don't know why that fragile little angel keeps intruding my mind every time I try to rid of those ridiculous fantasies. I sigh and look at my drink until I hear someone sitting next to me, I turn my head and see Elesis. "You seem distracted, what's in that head of yours Ciel?" Elesis questioned as a glass of whiskey was given to her. "It's none of your concern" I sharply reply as I finish my drink getting up and putting the money on the table. As I go to leave I hear Elesis say "You're in love aren't you?" I quickly leave the bar trying to hide the red appearing on my face from that statement. Me? In love? Impossible! How can a demon even love an angel? But why...is my heart beating so fast at the thought of being near him?
(M/N)'s POV
A few weeks have passed since I retrieved the soul with Elsword and I decided to go down to the mortal realm and explore the forest. I always had a soft spot for nature and the fauna that inhabits it. I continued walking until I stumbled upon a bed of beautiful cosmos flowers with a nice view. I sit down looking at the sky, watching clouds roll by until I feel something in my lap. I see a cute rabbit look up at me and I gently rub it's head smiling. Now with a companion I enjoyed the silence of nature taking in every inch of its beauty. All of a sudden my companion hopped away as if it were frightened, I turn around and see a demon looking at me. I quickly get up and slowly back away which makes the demon come closer to me. Wait...that's the same demon from a few weeks ago, what is he doing here? "I'm not going to hurt you I promise" he says as he raises his hands showing he has no intentions of fighting. "What are you doing here demon?" I cautiously ask him. "My name is Ciel not demon and second of all I come here to clear my mind I had some...thoughts" he says looking away a bit embarrassed. I hold in a laugh at his bashful state and I sit back down. "Come here Ciel it's nice to talk things out as I'm always told." I point to the spot next to me and he sits next to me. "You aren't afraid of me attacking you?" He asks and I simply reply "I know you have no intention of harming me, call it a gut feeling" He chuckles at my statement and looks at the sky. "Do you know what love feels like?" He slowly asks and I shake my head. "I hear it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy and you don't want to let that feeling go, I wish I can experience that sensation for myself but I know that's not gonna happen anytime soon." I say with a small laugh and he looks at me. "Well let's just say you love someone...but they're not an angel what would you do?" He asks and I shrug. "Well it's always been drilled into my brain that only an angel can love an angel but if I really love that someone I would go for it! I wanna be happy and if they don't like that than they can take my wings" I say with determination and he looks very surprised than he smiles. "Your very noble to declare something like that, I think you helped me with my little dilemma so thank you" He says getting up and walks away. I smile and shout "Good luck with your confession Ciel!" He waves and slowly disappears into the forest. I wonder who he's love with, from what he said it must not be a demon, well hopefully he succeeds.
NO ONE'S POV
Soon months pass as Ciel and (M/N) now grew a friendship in the cosmos flowers that they now call a meeting spot. They told each other about their days and other various things. But one of them never told them about their ever growing love towards the other. But soon even heaven and hell will know this secret.
Ciel's POV
I laugh as (M/N) tells me another story of his early days as a cherub. My love for him a grown immensely and I decided that today is the day I'm going to make him mine forever. "(M/N) I have to tell you something" he looks at me and nods. "Well first off I would like to say you're the first friend I've ever had and I thank you for that...but I wanna become more than friends...I wanna be with you forever...I want heaven and hell to know that I'm yours and you are mine...I love so much that my heart aches every time we have to depart. You don't know how many times I've thought of bringing you back with me. So please won't you accept this demon's love?" He looked at me with shock and he blushed which made me smile but my smile quickly disappeared. "I'm sorry Ciel but I only see you as a friend, but I am flattered that you see me in a romantic way...perhaps I should go to break this awkward situation" He goes to get up but I grab his arm tightly making him whimper. "C-Ciel...let go that hurts" that made me laugh making him even more frightened. "That hurts?! Imagine the pain I'm going through right now! Being rejected by the one I love is a pain I never thought I would experience but here we are! I'll show you real pain but remember this for us my dear...you have to reap what you sow"
(M/N)'s POV
As he said that he slowly gets up and I start to cry as he softly touches my wings and goes to my ear. "Remember what you said before...you would lose your wings for the one you love?" He whispers as my eye widened and I loudly scream as he slowly but painfully removes one of my wings. "Stop! Please Ciel I'm sorry! Don't do this!" My begging is heard upon deaf ears as finally rips off one of my wings. The blood seeps like lava out of a volcano, quickly staining the cosmos we always sat upon a bright crimson color. The suffering continues as he removes my second wing and I slowly start to lose consciousness, I can feel my halo slowly disappearing from above me and I pray for someone, anyone, to help me. Soon the pain stopped and I see my once pure white wings now dyed in red. A light from the heavens appeared and quickly Elsword, Ara, and Chung came down and gasped at the sight. "(M/N)!! What have you done you to him you fiend?!" Chung shouts ready to attack. "I'm only doing what's best, he said it himself, he'll remove his wings for the one he loves" Ciel smirks and I weakly shake my head. "I didn't mean...I would for you..." I slowly say as I pass out from the blood loss.
Ciel's POV
I gently set my angel down not before healing his injuries. He's lucky I didn't let him die unlike what I'm going to do with these pests he called friends. "You bastard! How dare you take his wings! For that you shall die a thousand deaths" Elsword declares and I get into a fighting position ready to kill these nuisances.
*TIMESKIP*
Ciel's POV
I pant as I finally won the battle between those filthy angels. I will admit, they put up a worthy fight but it still wasn't enough to defeat me. Now it is time to take my darling to his new home, it'll probably take him a while to adjust. I pick him up and slowly sink into ground where the once bright and lively cosmos were living are now dead and crimson red.
