She gets to school which always seems to be crawling with kids. Its ironic, because its a school, but just the amount of them all coming and going made them all seem like rats scuttling wherever they needed to be there and then. She walks down the hall to get to her first class and meets eyes with multiple people, all going about their business, silently judging them.
Boring, boring, Oh her hair looks nice, I don't like you, okay you're really attractive to me. She thought as each person walked past. Y/n gets to her class, science, nothing special, quite boring, easy to get away with having your head on the desk for most of the lesson and she didn't have to talk to anyone unless they spoke to her. Y/n didn't really have anyone she would consider a friend, because I don't think she was ready to accept that she deserved any, half of her hated the idea that she wanted friends, really quite badly actually. She was nice to anyone she talked to, even if they tossed her to the side. She once even did a random popular kids homework in the 7th grade free of charge because she thought it'd boost a chance of people wanting to affiliate with her more. They did not. And she kept doing this even now.
Y/ns pov or whatever🕺🕺????????
The teacher handed me a starter sheet on the way in and I made my way to my seat,  dropped bag to the floor and got on with it while taking at least a 10 minute break just to daydream. By now, the majority of people are here but before I knew it the door opens and in strolls Carl. He doesn't say anything and continues to make his way over to his seat. The teacher gave him a look but decided not to act on it because honestly, who even has the energy to get all riled up at that time in the morning. Carl sat down next to me. At first, he was quite annoying, snatching my pen, making weird noises at me, calling me stupid names; dumbass, stupid etc... you get the point. But over time, when he realised I eventually gave up caring, and  I'd do anything to get him to stop humiliating me, even if it meant letting him copy my work, he stopped paying the slightest bit of attention to me, like I was literally invisible. And I didn't know why, but even Carl ignoring me, made me feel, and realise that I really was.

I dont have a name for this yet but Carl Gallagher is in it!!Where stories live. Discover now
