[WEDDING]
; third person's pov
note:
⸻⸻1 month had passed and today was a special day for the three women, especially kaia. She's getting married today.
"Shh, calm down." yoshiko shushed, caressing kaia's forehead as the former took deep breaths.
"You already have your makeup on. Just because it's waterproof, you can freely cry." y/n reminded, smiling with amusement as she added a bit more blush on kaia's cheeks.
"I know. i'm just nervous," kaia sniffed, chuckling after as the two laugh with her.
"You've been waiting for this since middle school, why are you getting nervous now?" yoshiko laughed as y/n nodded.
"Tsk. didn't you also feel nervous on your wedding, yoshi? and you, y/n? let's wait for your wedding day!" kaia retorted, rolling her eyes which made y/n scoff and yoshiko grin.
"It's time." kaia's mother entered the room, a proud smile plastered on her face. "Well then, we'll wait for you there, kaia." y/n smiled, placing a kiss on her cheeks.
"Man, this is the last time we're gonna see you not married." yoshiko said, slight sadness lacing her voice as she also slightly teared up. "Why are you crying now?" y/n teased, also wiping the small tears that were appearing on the side of her eyes.
"Don't make me cry now!" kaia whined, her lips quivering as all of them laughed together.
"Congrats and we'll meet you there. Don't turn back, okay?" yoshiko reminded before the both of them left the room.
"My, we're getting old." yoshiko smiled, glancing at y/n who snickered. "Yeah, i remember just having trouble with thesis and stuffs. I never expected this'll be us." y/n reminisced, looking out the sky as the both of them reached the door.
"Mama!" a little feminine voice called as they turned their heads, seeing yoshiko's daughter; euna.
Yoshiko picked the little girl up before they continued their walk outside the building and entered the car that's ushering them to the church.
"Mama, when is y/n-chan getting married?" euna questioned, her eyes curiously looking at y/n who chuckled. "Y/n-chan still doesn't have a boyfriend but soon, she will." yoshiko smiled, patting her daughter's head as y/n snickered.
"W-what is your ideal wedding?" the little girl asked and it piqued her(y/n's) interest.
The thought never really crossed her mind. sure, 20% of her money is reserved for her future family but getting married? not really. Y/n didn't really imagine herself wearing a wedding gown.
"Heh. I don't really know, euna-chan but a simple church wedding would do." y/n answered with a genuine smile plastered on her as she imagined her church wedding.
She furrowed her brows as the groom was portrayed to be ran. Shaking her hand, she huffed and looked out the window, her cheeks slightly red. 'Why him out of all people..?'
"Pfft, i'm sure ran wouldn't allow a simple wedding." yoshiko snickered as y/n turned to her with a surprised expression.
"W-what do you mean about that?! and why ran?!" y/n stuttered, her blush getting deep as the other two girls giggled. "Mama, y/n-chan is in love!" euna exclaimed, clapping her hands.
"Mhm." yoshiko hummed which y/n rolled her eyes on.
a few minutes later..
"Say, are you falling for him, y/n?" yoshiko asked quietly, glancing at y/n whose eyes slightly widened. "Unfortunately, i guess?" she sighed, leaning on the window.
"This is what we're telling you early on." yoshiko huffed, flickering y/n's forehead as she sooth euna's back with her other hand.
"Tsk. i'm not sure but maybe, 30% of me is falling." y/n answered, lips forming a small pout. Yoshiko smiled lightly as she patted y/n's shoulder.
"Figure it out, okay? It's better to be aware early on." yoshiko suggested and y/n nodded, sighing.
"Okay.."

A few hours have passed, the wedding ended in an hour and now they were in the wedding reception.
"Oh, rindou." y/n greeted, slightly bowing as the latter curtly nodded. "So, this is where you've been all this time?" rindou huffed, lightly smacking his brother's head as y/n lightly chuckled.
"Come inside. There are a few seats there." y/n informed, backing away from the entrance as the two followed after her.
"All the single friends of the bride, please stand in the middle, the bouquet will be thrown!" the host of the wedding announced as some friends of kaia, except for y/n went to the middle.
"Why aren't you going there?" rindou asked, glancing at the h/c who scoffed.
"I don't need to."
"Wait, are you already together with my brother?" rindou asked, now staring at the two. Ran had a smirk on her face as y/n rolled her eyes. "That's right—"
"Nevermind, i'm joining." y/n sighed, walking down 3-steps stairs as she stood on the furthest back of the dance floor.
Rindou chuckled in amusement as his eyes darted back to his brother who had a small frown on his face. "You still haven't got her?" rindou teased as ran rolled his eyes.
"Try playing with someone like her, you won't get it easily but oh well, we'll all die first before you meet someone like her again." ran snickered, crossing his arms as his eyes watched the h/c girl who waited on the back.
"Hm." rindou hummed, an amused smile plastered on his face.
'I don't even know if i'll get to catch the bouquet from this position.' y/n thought, a chuckle erupting from her mouth as she placed her right hand on her hips, waiting for kaia to throw the bouquet.
Kaia's hands went up the air as the bouquet flew away from her, hands were out to reach it as the bouquet finally reach someone's chest.
"Ouch, the fuck." y/n hissed, picking up the bouquet from the ground as kaia turned around with a large smile on her face.
"SHE CATCHED IT!" she exclaimed, running down the stairs as she rushed to y/n's side, hugging her tightly. "You're getting married next!"
"Tsk, we don't know that." y/n huffed, her cheeks getting squished.
"Think this is a sign you're gonna get her?" rindou asked, nudging his older brother's arm. "Think so."

11:13 PM
The roads were somewhat quiet and there were no sounds of car beeping all throughout the almost—deserted road of tokyo if not for the small sounds of car speeding across the intersections.
"I'm going to take a smoke." ran informed as y/n nodded, sitting straight up her seat as ran went out the car after safely parking it on the sides.
A lot of things were running throughout his head but one disturbed him the most and it was everything about her, about akashi y/n.
a few minutes later...
"Hmm, you're done?" y/n asked, glancing at ran who had a unreadable expression as he leaned back his seat with a sigh.
Y/n raised her brows, curious about his lack of answer as she stared at his expression, "Are you ok—"
Yelping in surprise, her eyes widened as she felt ran's lips on her. Her body relaxed as she too closed her eyes, feeling herself getting lifted by the waist.
Pulling away, ran panted heavily as y/n laid her head on the crook of his neck, her hands placed on his arms as he started driving.
"I fucking love you." ran whispered, he could feel that he's quite annoyed judging by his tone.
