I returned from work to an empty house. I let out a squeal of excitement. A few days had gone by since I've moved in to the apartment I'm sharing with Taehyung.

After we talked about the rules in the house the other day, I went back to my room and fell asleep moments later. When I woke up, I was alone in the apartment. Taehyung had already left early in the morning.

At first, I thought it would be cool. I get to have the apartment to myself although I am sharing it with him. Yesterday, he returned home looking exhausted.

"Hey," I spoke. He only nodded then went straight to his bedroom and closed the door shut. He probably had a bad day at work so I just let it slide.

I wasn't that surprised since we were already not in the best terms. I put my bag on the floor in the living room and went to the bathroom.

Sound of the front door unlocking was heard when I finished showering. Suddenly, something fell in front of the door. I went outside to only see a man collapsed on the floor. It was Taehyung.

"Taehyung, wake up!," I shouted. He laid there like a dead body. I placed my finger under his nose.

I said to myself. "Thank God he's still breathing"

He looked like he got himself drunk. A bottle of beer was held tightly in his left hand. "Oh my gosh, Kim Taehyung! Where did you go?"

He started to shift his body and grunted. "W-W-What are you d-doing?," he said in a muffled voice.

"I was about to ask you the same question. What were you doing? How much did you drink?," I scolded. "Non of your business," he turned the other side.

I rolled my eyes. "Come on, you need to get some sleep," I tried carrying him. "Kim Taehyung, stand up"

He pushed my hand away and stared at me. He was totally drunk. "Don't touch me you woman". How rude.

"Yah, do I look like I want to lay a finger on you? Just because you're drunk and I'm trying to help you to go to bed so shut up and move that butt," I yelled.

"You're so annoying," I added.

I dragged his body in the house first and locked the door. I lifted his arm and put in around my shoulder trying to get him to walk back to his room.

That man is so tall and heavy I could've shat my pants trying to carry him. Thankfully, I didn't.

"Taehyung, now I need you to kindly remove those precious shoes of yours"

"No"

"Why no?"

"I'm too tired"

"No dirty shoes allowed in this house. I'm too lazy to mop the floor again. Who knows if you accidentally stepped on dog poop on your way back"

He weakly started removing his shoes. "Happy?"

"Now, put that beer down"

He did as I said and put the bottle on the countertop. "Good, now walk"

He was all tipsy trying to walk as I supported him. "Stop. KIM TAEHYUNG STOP YOU'RE WALKING TOWARDS A WALL," I made him flinch.

"Keep it low, stop shouting," he whispered.

We slowly made our way towards his room and I "yeeted" his heavy body on his bed. "Sir, now take of your jacket. You ain't sleeping with that on," I instructed. He slowly took it out and handed me his jacket.

A smile formed on his face. Did he just smile? "You're so cute," he said and pouted. This is the side of Kim Taehyung I've never seen before. Minutes ago, he was arrogant and rude. Now, he just called me cute.

I pinched myself. Nope, I'm not dreaming. "Bipolar idiot," I scoffed.

A giggle left his lips. "Awww, look at her," he chuckled.

I laughed. "Wow, you really are drunk. Not to mention you're the complete opposite person when you're drunk"

He pouted again. "W-w-who a-are you?," Taehyung struggled to say.

"Your housemate you apparently hate a lot, you're welcome," I replied.

"Hate? Since when did I hate my housemate? Kim Taehyung, did you?," he pointed at himself.

I smiled looking at his behavior. "Cute," I thought to myself.

"I can't believe you're like this. Now, go to sleep. You're being ridiculous"

"Fine," he acted like a 5 year old who gave up on convincing his mother to let him stay up.

I put a blanket over him. "Good night, Kim Taehyung"

I turned off the lights and closed his bedroom door. Who could've thought someone that arrogant has a soft side?

I woke up an hour earlier than I usually do. Taehyung hasn't woke up. I peeked through his bedroom door. The young man still fast asleep hugging his bolster.

I headed to the kitchen to prepare something. Hangover soup for Taehyung. I don't want him to have a terrible headache all day especially when he has to go to work.

I sat in the living room going on my phone as I waited for him to wake up. An hour later, I heard the shower running. He was finally awake.

After showering, he came out to the living room. He was wearing a casual plain black T-shirt with black jeans and a belt. His hair was still wet and fluffy. He looked confused and stared at me.

"Oh, you're awake. Good morning," I said. "What happened last night?," he asked and looked very serious.

"You came back drunk collapsed on the floor so I had to carry you back to your room"

His eyes widened. "You what?"

"I brought your heavy ass into your room because you came home drunk. Do I need to repeat myself again?," I got annoyed.

"So, you entered my room?," he asked again. Is he for real now?

"Oh no, I opened your door then threw you to your bed from outside," I sarcastically said. "Anyways, I made you hangover soup. Hope you'll feel better"

"I need to go to work right now," he rushed to take his bag and started wearing his shoes. "Umm, I made you hangover soup? Drink it at least?"

"No time for that"

"Are you kidding me? I woke up early on purpose to make you that. You should be thanking me right now instead of acting like this," I was already fuming with anger.

This man is really heartless. As much as I dislike him, at least have the manners to say thank you.

He headed out the door and I chased him. "KIM TAEHYUNG! WHO THE HECK IS GOING TO DRINK THE SOUP," I shouted but he just ignored.

"IDIOT," I shouted one last time but he dissappeared in my sight already.

The definition of a jerk. I shouted in my pillow to let out my anger. How can he do such a thing? "How arrogant," I said to myself again and again.
