Unfaithful

It had been a couple of months now with Chloe being married to Pierce and she couldn't be happier, if she still didn't have feelings for Lucifer, that is. Her husband had asked of her to stop wearing that damn necklace, so she did, or maybe she didn't because she can't bring herself to do that but she wouldn't wear it in front of him; it was bad enough she was calling out the Devil's whether on purpose or intentionally trying to tell him something cryptic he wasn't sure, so for her little punishment for that, just like he had said he would, ensured she was allocated with anyone other than Lucifer. Unfortunately because of this the detective and her narcissistic husband of hers would often have arguments about it. A lot.

"That was not fair what you had done Pierce, Lucifer is MY partner, you do not get to take that away from me. You do not switch your employees up with me. You do not pull him away from a case or kick him off one." Chloe hurled very much vexed by the controlled situation.

"Oh, for god sake, Chloe, we've had this conversation." Pierce huffed exasperatedly.

"Yeah, this about you being jealous for no reason! I chose to be with you, I did, but that doesn't mean you can control my life! I make my own decisions. Whether or not I want Lucifer on a case with me is MY choice. That's what you do now... you keep me by your side like a dog on a short leash or make sure he's with a female. It wouldn't matter who you put him with because you know what Pierce? Here's something you don't realise; you think he'd go with any female, but that's where you're wrong, at least have the decency to make it a choice for him with both female OR male because, you know, he's bisexual. He's only half or even a quarter of being straight."

"It wouldn't matter who I put with him because he clearly has feelings for you but won't say it aloud because he knows you're in a relationship and that would be a disgrace for him and ruin his chivalrous reputation."

"At least he actually has one! You most certainly don't have that. If you did maybe you'd be more compassionate like him!"

"Don't make me-"

"What? Fire me? Yeah, you've used that line one too many times now. You're all talk and no do, Pierce. You are a coward! You are afraid that if you do something about it that Lucifer will come down on you like thunder (which is funny because in season 6 he's actually God 😆) because he knows how much this job means to me."

"You say that like he's your husband."

"You know what? Sometimes I wish he was! He'd be a hell of a lot more supportive than you are being right now and he most definitely wouldn't control me the way you are because that's the difference between you and him; you don't have any faith in me. You assume that I'll just cheat on you without any evidence. At least he doesn't... he trusts me to the fullest much more than what you're doing!"

"You may not be cheating on me with your coworker, physically, but you are mentally. How am I supposed to deal with the fact that you are thinking about him whilst having sex with me?! That's why I reassign you new to new employees on daily basis, babe. I don't want that linking to our bedroom business."

"Well, switch things up for a change, I assume Lucifer would." Pierce throws a cup at the wall, making Chloe jump.

"Oh for god sake! Lucifer Lucifer Lucifer that's all I hear out of your mouth! Whether you're talking about him or calling out his name. Just stop it! I want you to focus on me not him. By doing that I want you to be pregnant, so all you can think about is your new family."
