Tajahe
I've been in the hospital for several weeks now, and during those weeks I moved my mom in a bigger house.

Everything Ton did for me to make sure I had what I needed was amazing.

It's crazy when someone you love passes, because I just be watching the door waiting for him to come through.

But I know he's not. I've found myself crying and stopping a lot, or thinking mad hard.

Shanté been here though, keeping me company making sure I don't fall apart.

I kinda regret being so damn mean to her because Shawty dope.

It's kinda aggy she got a boyfriend but Ian want her that bad anyway.

Shante and I been really getting close tho, we talk about allot and she cooler than I thought she was.

You would think that she would kick ole girl Lynn out my mind but tbh I just want the Puhh. I want her to ride through and check up on me ya know but, I've been waiting for a while and today I leave.

I have a place of my own so my mom and Pookie can be safe, while I do my dirt.

It was around 7:00 in the morn when Shanté came to pick me up and check me out. When she came in my room, she had on a white tank top, purple varsity sweatpants and socks with slides.

She was rocking her real hair in a bun.

"You up already? I thought I'd have to wake you up."

Shanté's voice was so soothing to me. She had a little southern twang like all of us but hers is slightly different, since she's actually from Atlanta...

"Nah...after a while it gets hard to sleep in these hard ass, small ass, starched ass hospital beds."

I said smirking pulling my legs over the edge of the bed, starting to get up.

Sitting in a bed for 3 weeks do make a nigga weak.

"No no nooo." her words were ran together. She left out the room and came back with a wheelchair.

"Yo, I'm good I can walk." But she just looked at me like 'get in the damn chair' so eventually I did.

She walked around me while I just gave her the wtf face.

"What?" She asked confused, "You make me get in the wheelchair and you not gon push me in it?"

I said semi catching an attitude, but she walked back behind me, we checked out, and got in her car.

"You hungry? Want McDonalds or something?" Shante started backing out of the hospital parking lot.

"Nah I want something from Stanley Restaurant on St. Ann Street, it opened around seven today... not to long ago."

I haven't had anything from that place in a loooong time cause ion know just never really thought about it but I know the hospital wasn't far from Stanley.

"Do you know how expensive Stanley is? Plus I'm ready to go back to bed."

She didn't even bother to turn her head and look at me.

"I have the money that's not a problem. So here's the plan, we go to Stanley stay a little while and since my house is on the other side if town from yours you can take a nap there and leave when you feel like it."

I was insistent on going to Stanley, before Shanté finally agreed.

When we actually got there not many people showed up yet.So we got in and waited on quickly.

Though I may have lugged behind. We sat at the cafe, I ordered Foster French Toast and Creole Style Breakfast Potatoes, Shanté ordered Stanley's Classic which all summed up to about $30.00 exactly.

By the time we left we were stuffed, on our way out she had our leftover food and the car keys.

"Lemme get the keys.." I said following an inside burp. "Are you sure you gonna be able to drive?"
