The other beginning

Bakugou's POV

I was awoken by my alarm. I just want to sleep and keep cuddling with Ei. But, today is the first day of school, so I roll out of bed- and out of Ei's arms mind you- and get ready. As I walk out of my closet, I see Ei still sleeping. I walk over to him and start shaking his shoulder a little bit.

"Ei, c'mon you have to get up... today is the fucking first day of school." See normally, I'm never this soft. But, Ei is one of my 2 soulmates.

"Ugh I'm up I'm up." He rubbed his eyes and looked at me with a smile.

"Good morning sleepyhead." I told him with a smile smirk.

"Why didn't you wake me up when you got up kat?"

"Well, I thought the alarm woke us both so I didn't think to check." I shrugged.

"Well it obviously didn't wake me up. How long have you been up? Has it been long?"

"No, not long. Only like ten minutes."

"Oh, ok good." He got up and put on his uniform while I went to go do all of my other stuff in my morning routine. About 15 minutes later we went downstairs to see my old hag making breakfast.

"Oh good! You boys are up! I was just about to go up and tell you breakfast is ready."

"Oh! Thank you Mitsuki!"

"Eijiro, how many times do I have to say to call me mom?"

"...one more time?" He said in a squeaky high voice. All I did was chuckle a little and laugh.

"C'mon Ei. Let's sit down and eat." We both walked to the kitchen and sat down. Then the old hag brought us the food and we sat down to eat. It was a comfortable silence between us... until my mom spoke up.

"So boys, when are you going to find your last soulmate?" She said it so nonchalantly. We both immediately blushed at the question.

"HAG! Why on earth would you and that?!?!"

"Haha! I'm just curious!"

"We've been looking. We just haven't found them yet... m-mom?" Ei said the last part like it was a question. It made my mom really happy. She had this big dopey smile on her face.

"Well, we have to go now of we're going to be late." I said taking Ei and I's empty plates to the sink. I walked to the front door and Ei was close behind me. We slipped on our shoes and grabbed our backpacks.

"BYE OLD HAG!! WE'RE LEAVING!" I yelled into the kitchen.

"ALRIGHT HAVE A NICE DAY!!! AND DONT CALL ME TH-" I closed the door before she could finish.

"Y'know kat, you should be nicer to your mom."

"I'm am nice to her." I said defensively.

"He. You don't show it very well then." He said with a chuckle.

"HEY!" After the he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. We fell into ha comfortable silence. As we were walking I started to think about how Ei and I met. That was a fun day... note the sarcasm.

~ flashback~

I walked into my first day of middle school, found my classroom and sat down. I was looking out the window when a guy with red hair came up to my desk. I looked over at him with my usual scowl.

"Hey there! My name is Eijiro Kirishima! What's yours?" I looked at him and my first thought was damn. He's hot. WAIT WHAT NO!!! Don't think that! You just got your marks 3 months ago. Stop.
