Wan is slammed back by Vaatu's tendrils as he once more feels the exhaustion and staggering pain of Raava inside of him.

Wan fingers dug in the earth as his body screams for Raava to leave. His eyes clenched tightly as he leans in on himself.

'Wan, if I don't leave your body, you will die!'

Wan glared at his opponent. He took a run for it, charging for Vaatu on an air spout. Unwavering despite how much the odds were highly unfavorable.

Vaatu flew towards the human in a fit of rage. But instead of attacking with beams of dark energy, he crashed against Wan's chest. Wan feels his entire body being ripped in half. He clenched over as blood spilled from his mouth. The clash between Darkness and Light, swirling inside of him.

Conflict and Order

Death and Life

Day and Night

Chaos swirled inside him and yet in such a peaceful way. The forces overwhelmed his physical body. His spirit withstood as both dark and light intertwined. Vaatu and Raava are blasted out of Wan's body. Raava, now being the same height as Vaatu charged forth, yet she could not.

Vaatu lunged yet could not. He crashed as both primordial spirits of light and dark were somehow calmed and not having the urge to battle. Raava turns as she sees Wan's lifeless body. "What have you done?" Raava roared, unable to contain her anger.

"Oh please, don't tell me you feel something for that human." Vaatu disregarded Raava's anger as a mere outburst. "You only had a year for that boy and you grew attached."

Raava flew to Wan's dead body as the two portals collided together as harmonic convergence had begun. Beside Wan was a small spec of a mixture of dark and light. Vaatu noticed and watched it grow and shift, taking the form of a human man.

The light and shadows reseeded revealing a nude Wan with long dark silver hair. He remained nearly the same as he was before.

Wan's eyes fluttered open, his vision began to clear, seeing both the primordial dark and light spirits seemingly staring at him. Or at least he could call it that.

"What? Raava? What's going on?"

"Wan, calm yourself. I can explain." Raava's voice rang in. "You're a spirit now, how is that even possible ?" Vaatu stammered.

"When-" Raava took a moment to fully comprehend what she was about to say. "When our energies mixed within you, Wan, a new force of nature was created. A new spirit was born."

"How!? What!?" Wan glanced over to see his dead body.

His dead physical body

Wan staggered as he tried to walk on his two feet. He walked to a spirit stream and stared at his new appearance. Platinum hair, his entire eyes are silver. All the scars and wounds from his body were gone.

"Great, now look at what you did Raava," Vaatu grumbled. Raava sharply turned to Vaatu. "Me? Oh, surely this is your fault!"

"Shut up, both of you!" Wan stands on his two feet. Both of the spirits, Raava stuttered, "Wan- I?"

"Is this the time to be bickering? I just got turned into a spirit by you two and my dead body is over there! I don't want to hear any more primordial bullshit arguments!"

Vaatu deflated as he groaned, "I can't believe this."

Wan hugs himself, slightly aware he was naked. "Maybe the lion turtle knows, maybe I can be changed back and everything will go back to normal." Vaatu tendrils curl around the young spirit. "I know what's going on, let me teach you my way."

"Vaatu, sit down. You don't know what's going on. The ancient ones are our best chance to know what Wan is now." Raava interjected almost immediately.

Vaatu reseeded in a pout-like drama king fashion, "Ugh, fine. So bossy Raava."

Wan took sharp deep breaths as he finally took a moment to look at his old physical body. Wan didn't have the urge to vomit but he wishes he could. He wanted to call upon Mula, yet even she ran. Unable to know this new spirit that was once her friend.

Harmonic Convergence came with no victor that day. Vaatu and Raava traveled together to find the nearest lion turtle although very begrudgingly. Wan clenched his eyes as they finally found a nearby lion turtle.

His old one.

Wan hid behind Raava only for Vaatu to laugh almost mockingly, earning a slap on Vaatu's tentacles by Raava. "Ancient one, a new spirit has been born, by a human soul. I and Vaatu collided inside of that said human," Raava explained.

The lion turtle hums, their voice deep and powerful, as if the cosmos ran through them. "Reveal yourself to me young one, so that I may discern your true nature."

Wan steps out, ever so carefully walking to the edge of the cliff. Wan gulps nervously as he shifts uncomfortably. The lion turtle takes a moment to examine Wan.

"You are a spirit of balance, born from the clash of dark and light. Destined to bring opposing forces together. For good or ill. Conflict and Order, all things that are opposite and the same reside in you. Vaatu and Raava energies are within you, Balance incarnate."

"Great lion turtle, there has to be a way to reverse this?"

"I am sorry young one, there is no way to reverse this condition."

Wan stands in silence as slowly takes a few steps back. Tears witted from the corners of his eyes, falling down his cheeks. No, he was stuck like this until the end of time. Forever bound to this life, he would never find love or children. Never to be free again from his burden. Wan throws himself into the spirit wilds in a wild sprint.

"Wan!" Raava cried out seeing the run spirit disappear into the spirit wilds.

"Now look at what you did Raava. You scared away our baby." Vaatu sassed.

"You did this! You should have never gone into Wan in the first place!" Raava yelled at Vaatu.

"Oh please. You're just as responsible as me. If it wasn't for your little bonding tactic, he wouldn't be like this."

"I'm done arguing with you. I just want to find Wan!" Raava flies off following Wan. Vaatu grumbling couldn't help but go along with Raava. It was one of those things where the spirit of darkness and chaos didn't know why he was doing it.

Only that he did.
