The house smelled amazing. Wulbrekh greeted us, proving himself to be slightly more talkative (though not by much) when not repairing someone's leg. He was definitely ancient, you could just tell. Becca kept giving me these side-eyed looks, different than she did before. She was pouring wine in the kitchen while a certain someone who was obscured from view worked away on something, chopping vegetables. Melanie was in the living room, watching Holonet. Ahsoka and I lounged about for a bit, her dawning her robes once more as to lounge more comfortably. These robes were soft, softer than any fabric, and were extremely ornate. They almost looked like the works worn by Naboo Royalty, but much, much older in style. Padme had taught me a lot about fashion. When Dinner actually came around, a huge pot of soup was being shared, us using our spoons to take our favorite of the fruits and vegetables that had been marinating in the soup and putting it on our plates. To my right, sat Ahsoka, and to my left, much to my dismay, was Sydney. She seemed almost...younger-looking...than I remember, but maybe she's onto some new beauty routine or Gentyer's atmosphere is moisturizing her face. She still dresses like herself, clad in baggy, cropped sweaters that hand low on her arms, a variety of booty shorts, and, like today, skirts. She wasn't wearing shoes today, unlike before where she wore heels. She was still as pretty as she was before, and her ginger hair had grown longer and shaggier, giving her this more wild look than when it was more well-kept. She smiled at me softly. "Hello again, Annie.," Sydney said to me. I finished what I was eating. "Great to see you again, Sydney.," I replied. "Wonder where Pads went?" She asked me. I went quiet. "That's a...dodgy subject right now" Wulbrekh chimed in. Something about Wulbrekh was always both off-putting and comforting, nothing ever seemed unusual to him. It was like he'd known these people for centuries, and from what I know of his past, he definitely hasn't. I'll probably ask 'Soka a lot more about him because I'm curious to know what a Sith Alchemist is and how old he really is. As dinner went on, we caught up. Sydney kept looking at me and then across to Ahsoka like they had some sort of telepathy. Melanie and I quickly got talking. She was sitting across the table from me and was a very sweet girl, being a very good listener. She would ramble on quite a lot, but I liked that. It was comforting, reminded me of some of the guys back in the 501st. After dinner, we all went to our special quarters. Despite supposed soundproofing, we could still hear Wulbrekh banging away on something he was presumably forging. Melanie was reading in the living room, god only knows what Becca was doing, but Sydney...she decided to join me and Ahsoka in 'Soka's quarters for some tea and chatting.
