Yura sat on the chair, his gaze fixed on the panoramic view before him. He took a sip of his coffee, contemplating that this might be the end of his fairy tale.
He had heard everything, every single word. He had been there from the start, unexpectedly stumbling upon their conversation. He had only stopped by to buy Jane's favorite latte, but he found himself caught in their exchange.
It was true, it's difficult to forget your love, especially your first love. Yura knew this, for he would soon be facing the challenge of letting go. He had never experienced love before Jane. She was the one who had made him feel truly loved.
Now, he had to gather his strength to let go of those sweet memories. He knew there was no way Jane would ever forget David. That man had left an indelible mark on her life. Yura had witnessed the depth of her love for him, and how broken she had become because of him.
"Babe..." Yura murmured, a faint smile playing on his lips as he shook his head. He already missed her dearly. Her voice seemed to echo in his mind, calling out to him each day. He took another sip of his coffee, silently urging his mind to stop dwelling on these thoughts.
"Yura..." He began to cry, tears flowing silently down his cheeks. Why couldn't he forget her? Why did her voice continue to linger in his ears? He began to question his own sanity, cupping his ears as the tears fell. It hurt, oh how love hurt! It hurt so much!
Suddenly, he felt a warm embrace from behind. Someone rested their chin on his shoulder, and he slowly lowered his arms, reaching out to touch the arms that encircled his waist. He turned his head.
It was Jane.
And she smiled at him, a bittersweet smile that held both joy and sorrow.
Yura held onto Jane tightly, his tears soaking into her shoulder as he sobbed uncontrollably. Her gentle touch caressed his hair, providing comfort and solace.
"You came to say goodbye, didn't you?" he managed to utter between his sobs, still enveloped in her embrace. He couldn't bear to meet her gaze, fearing it would only make their parting more painful.
"Goodbye? Where did you get that idea?" Jane pulled away slightly, looking at him with a tender expression. She lovingly wiped away his tears. Oh, how this man cried, expressing his emotions so openly throughout their relationship.
She had never expected Yura to possess such softness and sensitivity. The infamous Yura Black, often described as heartless, cold, and sarcastic by others, revealed a vulnerable side when consumed by love.
"You're such a crybaby, you know that?" she teased, her voice filled with affection. "When I first met you, I never imagined you could be this tender. I thought you were a tough, stubborn man. Who would have guessed you could display such sensitivity? It's kind of cute!" Jane playfully pinched his cheek, indulging in his adorable display of emotions.
"Stop teasing me! Don't make things harder, Jane. You're only making it more difficult for me," Yura pleaded, gripping her hand tightly.
"Harder? How so?" Jane's confusion slowly transformed into realization.
"Yeah! You're saying goodbye, right? But if you keep creating these sweet moments, how am I supposed to forget you? It's already hard enough, even now..." Yura's words hung in the air, revealing his inner struggle.
Jane was taken aback by his assumption. The pieces started to fall into place, and she understood his perspective.
"Who said anything about saying goodbye?" she whispered softly, her eyes filled with love and determination.
Yura's words hung in the air, filled with resignation and understanding. He believed he had deciphered Jane's choice, accepting the weight of her first love and the difficulty of moving on. He prepared himself to respect her decision and let her go.
