"Hwang Hajoon!" He sighed and turned around to the familiar voice calling him from behind. A girl came running down the hall to catch up with the long-legged boy who was already far ahead  "Choi Seoyoon, I see that you're back." He said with a sigh. "And I see that you're not very happy to see me." Hajoon scoffed and her quick remark. "Of course not."  She gave him a smile that she didn't mean. "Well, it's nice to see you again, Hwang Hajoon. This is going to be a fun year." She smiled at him sweetly once more before walking away.

Choi Seoyoon and Hwang Hajoon used to be the closest of friends before a huge fight they had years ago. From the time they met in kindergarten, they had been extremely close to one another. Their parents had also become close due to their friendship. After a huge argument in year 2 of middle school, they had become sworn enemies almost as quickly as they had become friends.

Hajoon hadn't replaced Seoyoon, and even at times missed her being next to him all the time. This would be the 3rd year since their falling out, but he still wasn't used to it. He even felt lonely without her. However, he wasn't friend-less, he had made one friend; Yoon Hyunwoo. He was kind to everyone, and even Hajoon had to admit, that Hyunwoo was one of cutest boys at the school. Although, he wasn't the most popular, a decent amount of girls were falling for him. With his soft brown hair, deep brown eyes, perfect skin, and 182 cm of height, there was no question to why girls fell for him. Yoon Hyunwoo was practically born to be a model. He was also a good student, so even the teachers liked having him in class. He was practically perfect.

Hajoon wasn't bad-looking. He had dark brown hair- often being confused for having black hair, fair skin that looked very soft, a sharp nose, soft-looking lips that had a rosy tint. He was also very tall, 184 cm, to be exact. And, like Hyunwoo, he had a sharp jawline with a good looking v-line face. Hajoon also has a decent amount of girls fangirling over him, not as much as Hyunwoo, but still a fairly decent amount.

Hajoon continued walking down the hall, trying to find his class. It was the first day of year 2 in high school. He could make it through, complete year 3, and never have to see Seoyoon's face again. He refused to admit it, but for hating her, he truly thought about her a lot.

"Hey!" Hyunwoo quickly walked up to him from the same direction Seoyoon had come from. He turned around to see the other long-legged boy walking up to him with large steps. Hajoon turned around to see another familiar face, but one that didn't make him as infuriated. "I didn't see you all summer, why didn't you call me?" Hyunwoo asked with his normal cheerful tone. "Yoon Hyunwoo. Please tell me a single time I called you that wasn't urgent."  The boy's friend sighed at his harsh, yet truthful response. "Yeah, that's true. But I still had expectations, that you... obviously didn't care about" He said jokingly, putting his arm around Hajoon's shoulders, and began fake crying. Hajoon sighed, laughing a bit too. "Someone remind me why you're still my friend." Hyunwoo gasped sarcastically at his sassy remark. "I'm really going to go cry now" He replied jokingly. They both laughed and walked down the hall until they had to separate to go to their classes. Hyunwoo was in year 3, one year ahead of his friend who was only a year younger than the 17 year old.

As fun as it was to spend time with Hyunwoo, because he was a honestly a fun and genuine person, Hajoon still felt a bit empty. It wasn't the same to have a friend you have known for only 2 years compared to a friend you've taken care of as family for so long and basically grew up with. Unconsciously, he knew he missed Seoyoon. But he never thought of admitted that he missed the girl who betrayed him.

No one ever betrayed him like she did..
