" Saito is not a pure blood vampire... " This statement made no sense to Kanato. He looked to see if Reiji was joking. He wasn't. While Kanato tried to think of a response, the other brothers had teleported to the room, overhearing the conversation the two had. " Excuse me, WHAT?! " The loud noise woke the purple headed male. The brothers attention soon shifted to the shorty. He quickly laid back down. " What are you doing you bloody idiot? " Saito quickly responded with 'returning to my nightmare' as Laito's laughter quickly cut through the tension. Reiji quickly cleared his throat to gain their attention. " Whilst I tended to Saito's wounds, I decided to take a few samples of blood. I ran a few tests to see if there were diseases or parasites that may have corrupted his vampiric powers to set off the incident in the pool... " Subaru angrily shouted " And!? " Reiji glasses shined while his eyes held a mysterious glint. " His blood contains the Endzheit disease. " Ayato was the next to speak. " I thought only mutts could carry that disease. " Shu opened his beautiful ocean eyes. " They are. " Everyone was shocked. Except for Saito. The purple haired male felt small tears slip down his face. Sighing, Saito decided to finally explain to them his current situation. " I shouldn't be the one telling you guys this, but just to clear up a very obvious misunderstanding. I was born a pure blood vampire. But the Tsukinami's kidnapped me and decided that they would tamper with my genetic structure. " Shu then opened his eyes with interest. " And why would they want to do that for? " Saito sighed whilst rolling his eyes. " The Tsukinami's tried to strike a deal or truce with our family name, meaning one of our directly from our family line would have to produce an heir with either Carla and Shin. " Ayato was the first to speak up. " So... Afterwards? " Saito deadpanned at the red head. " Take a wild fucking guess... " Reiji finally decided to step in, putting the pieces together. " And since only Cordelia and Father knew of Saito's existence, it made him the ideal target. " Saito sighed. " If you wish to know more, your gonna have to ask father- " " Yes pumpkin pie! " Karlheinz immediately embraced Saito in his arms, Saito turning red. " Well there's one way to get him here... " Saito glared at Subaru for the comment. Saito was placed on a soft sofa jk couch. " It seems it's my time to explain hmmm Sai? " Saito simply nodded before rolling over and finally going back to sleep. " After they altered his genes, they tried to claim Saito as their own since the Tsukinami's blood now resided within him. The matter was brought forward to the Elder's Council. They stated that because the gene was artificially added, the Tsukinami's were not allowed that right. Ever since then, they have continuously asked for Saito's hand in marriage, only so they can harvest his genetic makeup.
