I sat on my front porch waiting for Axl. It was July third and we had a date tonight. We were just going out to get burgers and play mini golf. I was very excited this was my first actual date with my first actual boyfriend.

Axl walked out of his house and he waved me over. "Mom's letting me take the car, but it's on one condition.... Brick has to come with us."

"I'm sorry I told her I didn't want to go!" Brick cried. "I don't want to go!"

"Yeah. It's okay. I'm sure we'll still have a lot of fun." I smiled at the boys.

"You guys won't even know I'm here. If you want I'll sit in the car and read." Brick shrugged.

"Don't be silly, it's much too hot for you to just stay in the car." I told him.

"Well then at another table, but I do want a burger!" Brick said. "A burger"

"Deal." Axl began. "And while we're golfing stay a hole behind us and chill on the benches."

"Well what if he wants to play?" I asked.

"I don't. I'm not into sports." Brick told me.

"Alright fine. Let's go then." I nodded while getting in the car.

We were on the 18th hole at Orson Family Fun center and it was the waterfall hole. It was back in a cave behind a waterfall and in our town it was also a popular place for teens to hide and make out. And what do you think we were using it for?

When we finally pulled away from each other I asked, "you think we should finish the game?"

"Nah, we got this hole cave to ourselves. Let's go back to what we were doing." Axl dove in for round two.

"Okay, but shouldn't we check on Brick?" I asked stopping Axl dead in his tracks.

"We left him out there with a book and a snack. He's totally fine. Don't be lame." Axl huffed.

"I'm not I just... I don't know." I shrugged.

"About what?" Axl asked with a confused look on his face.

"You think we're moving too fast?" I asked.

"No, I mean I've actually slowed way down for you. It's been two weeks and I haven't even tried to feel you up yet." Axl chuckled.

"Yeah, thanks I can just feel the respect." I rolled my eyes.

"Well come on, what do you want from me?" Axl cried.

"You're my first boyfriend who's taking me on my first date and I want you to be my first of many other things... I just want it to be special." I pouted.

"This isn't special?" He asked.

"How many other girls have you brought here?" I asked.

"It doesn't matter, does it?" He replied.

"Well I don't want to do something because you've always done it that way. I want it different. Better." I smiled.
