ravyn lenae; computer luv | don't play yetall of my favorite songs came on and even old ones i forgot about, today's playlist is something else. tapping my finger on the steering wheel continuing my concert from earlier. nice and slow by usher coming on. yelling the lyrics, clapping my hands when they weren't on the steering wheel.
singing even louder when the best part came on,"THEY CALL ME U-S-H-E-R R-A-Y-M-O-N-D"
my head calmly moving side to side as i focused on the road ahead of me. the music making the road trip even better. the concert nearing the end as i pulled into the parking lot. the only thing on my mind being sleep. i walked to the front door with my stuff in my hands, rubbing against the gold rings in my fingers.
HAVEN'T REVISED FROM HERE ON
you open your phone looking through your notes for the code to get inside. you put in the code and walk into the main area. going to the elevator pressing the number eight, tapping your feet to the elevator music. when the door opened to two women. one in a white business suit and the other in a black one.
the one in a white business suit checking her watch whilst the once in the black messes around with her fro. the women in the white suits long hair framing her face perfectly she stood about 5'4 the other lady about 5'7 her afro covering her eyes her brown lip liner and gloss shining under the elevator lights.
their heels corresponding with their outfits each having matching anklets. the elevator door opens to floor eight as you exit. wishing that you spoke to them. you opened your door and dropped your bags slipping off your shoes and running to your room. you ran and hopped into your bed missing it. even if you enjoyed the time you spent in your old room you didn't wanna feel like you were cheating on your new one.
you starting reflecting on your week recalling everything that's happened to far. like your mystery guy, finally telling your family the truth, and those ladies in the elevator that you wished that you talked too. you fell asleep with all those thoughts on your mind.
