you both walked into the big building and greeted the secretary who seemed to be half asleep. walking towards the elevator and talking about everything that happened tonight. small laughs and giggles broke out the both of your mouths before the elevator tinged telling you that you were on your floor. floor 8, the floor with the best view. a stunning view that you stared at sometimes through your window.
Kai held your jacket for you as you strolled to your doors. getting closer and closer as the conversation neared its end. "y/n, i'm kind of scared." he said looking away
"scared of what?" you replied raising your eyebrows
"i watched this movie and i'm really scared," he said shivering," can i facetime you as i uh fall asleep?"
"are you for real?" you replied cackling," but uh yeah I got you."
"thank you," he replied giving you a genuine picture day type of smile
"you're welcome, don't forget your stuffed animals when you sleep," you cackled
"don't start hoe, like mr.snuffles isnt sitting on your bed," he replied cackling back
"don't do my son like that," you replied glaring at him in a joking manner from the corner of your eye
"what you mean my better correct that to ours," he said giggling
you both finished laughing and sniffled. when one of your neighbors opened their door wearing a robe with the durag to match," can yall keep it down?" he asked in a calm but deep voice clearly tired," a real niggas tryna get some beauty sleep."
he closed his door and left. you looked at one another getting out one last giggle before entering your apartments. you closed the door lightly not wanting to disturb another neighbor. sitting there and laughing once more catching yourself before a smile could spread across your face.
