Somethings are never meant to be solved, like the mystery of the zodiac killer, or why we move forward in time, but that's what attracts us, like a moth to a flame, the idea of the unknown and the ability to solve it.
Thorn Convel didn't believe Max Wolfe was that big of a mystery but sure she needed to figure him out— call it curiosity if you will— because even Tess, her best friend and an all around gossip didn't know much about him.
With a still lingering 'maybe' from Max about the Isaac role and Garcia by her side, Thorn was off to go to Dumbo Hall, a members only club she'd insta- stalked Juliet and her group of friends to be at.
"Do I look ok? I stole this dress from my mom." Garcia asked as they walked up to the elevator of the club.
"Garcia, honey." Garcia waited patiently as Thorn paused, for dramatic effects of course. "Nobody cares how you look." Thorn would've come with Tess but she was busy with something about a cousin's sweet sixteen or an aunt's sixth anniversary— Thorn had stopped listening midway, so Garcia was her best option because no way in hell was she going with AJ who still hadn't apologized.
As if.
AJ and Thorn had first met at an all exclusive 'rich people' party last year. The lockdown had just ended, she was bored and sleeping with an early vaccinated guy was the new sexy.
So what it wasn't a fairytale meet up, they had still fallen madly in love, or at least that's what Thorn told her.

Today, Thorn had decided to be the courageous one and say the L word, you know, before the fight— she tried convincing herself that this wasn't the universe's way of telling her not to.
