Dragon Tea

Today was a painful day. Your car broke down this morning and you had to walk to work- and it was raining which was even worse. Also you don't live close to your shop. But your now inside and checking out different types of drinks for different people. It was still pouring outside so you weren't to excited for when you close up.

"Thank you have a good day" You say to the person, leaving. "I'll probably just try to catch a bus today, I'm not waking in this rain again unless I really need to" you pull out your phone and look through the city busses, then a monster is placed on the counter in-front of you. Your slightly startled, "oh! Hey Karl. Sorry I was just looking through city busses" "it's okay, are you going somewhere?" "No just my car broke down this morning so I'm trying to find a way home, I walked here but I'm not to cold still" You sigh and scan his drink "so just the dragon tea?" He nods and pays "it is pouring out there, be careful" You say as he takes his drink. "Hey want me to drive you home?" "Oh uh- no thank you I can find a way home by myself" You say, looking outside "well okay Text me if you change your mind" he says walking turning to walk out "yup! Maybe see you later" he smiles at you and walks out.

At closing time you look outside and see that it's still pouring, it's colder then it was this morning and your cloths are still damp, but you didn't have enough time to grab a bus because most of the roads are closed. You walk over to the door and open it, still under the awning of the roof, you lock the door and look around sighing.

"Hey Y/N" a familiar voice is nearby, you turn to your left and see Karl standing there "Karl! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at home by now?" You say walking over to him "see I would be but I wouldn't be okay to just leave you here walking home in the cold rain so I'm giving you a drive home" "oh are you sure? I don't wanna-" you get cut off "no listen to me Y/N" Karl puts his hands on your shoulders "I want to take you home, it's the best thing I could do for you because you let me annoy you a lot" you chuckle slightly and nod "okay okay, fine you can drive me home" he smiles and gives you his sweater "also take this, you looked cold today and also damp from walking here, so wear it- it will warm you up"

After you debated it you put it on and was heading to his car. And he was right- it was very warm. You two get in and he starts the car as you put your seatbelt on. You tell him your address and he starts driving, it's slow because of the rain.

"Hey uh- Y/N?" "Yeah?" You answer and look at him "are you" he clears his throat "single?" You nod "uh last time I checked yes- why?" He sighs shakily and keeps his eyes on the road "will you- go on a date with me?"
