I hugged Hiro tight, ignoring the fact that he was wearing seriously thin clothing. He hugged me back and sighed. "Can you help me find some clothes? Proper ones." He asked.
I nodded and peered about, I turned around and looked back back at Hiro. "Stay here, I'll find something for you." I take two steps forward and something tugged on my sleeve.
I look down over my shoulder. Hiro was crouching on the floor, blinking up at me with wide eyes. "Where's Archer?" He asked.
I hid my grimace behind a smile and knelt down, grabbing his hand and kissing it like I used to do when we were young children, playing around in his Mother's garden.
"My King, he is busy preparing for your return."
Hiro blinked at me, his expression blank before he looked away. He nodded and pulled his hand away, looking at the ground he ignored me. "Go." Was all he said.
I sighed and left. He'd seen right through me.
He knew something was off. And the lie I'd told was too far stretched to explain even to my own parent who would usually understand anything I say.
Miyoko was a traitor. Archer was a prisoner.
