Strapped to a Hospital Bed.

Dutchlynn.

Here I was again, strapped to a hospital bed. 

I was in the lab room where Sierra dosed me up on anti-psychotics and tied down to the bed. My vision was blurry when I first woke up, but automatically knew where I was. 

I groaned and began struggling through my ropes, "Sierra! Sierra, I don't know if you can hear me, but if you can... mark my words. I will get out of here, and I will kill you!" 

 Hearing the steps of a familiar heel caught my attention. 

Sierra's voice followed, "Dutchlynn, I found a similar trait between us. I used to think that my friends would do anything for me too. I was wrong." 

And then I heard a loud bang and Sierra went silent. 

And then I heard my favorite voice, "But she was right." 

I began to cry, "Anna? Anna, is that you?!" 

She ran up to me, "Yeah. Yeah hunny, I'm right here." 

I then heard a low chuckle, "We're all here." 

I started to cry even more, "Chase?!" He grabbed my hand and stared at me intently in the eye.

 I nodded slowly. 

Chase sighed, "Untie her! Let's go!" The group began undoing the several knots placed on my wrists, neck, and ankles. 

Once I was untied fully, I reached for Anna. 

She snaked her arms around my body and sighed, "I was so worried." 

I sniffled, "Thank you so much!" 

I guess Sierra woke up, "This was cute. But I'm not finished."

 I shook my head, "It's over Valu. You lost."

 She chuckled weakly, "It's not though. Dutchlynn, you are still mine. We will always be tied together by the bonds of Drondy."

 I walked over to her but Asher pulled me back. 

I kept my distance and swallowed a lump in my throat, "You murdered my mother. You allowed me to grieve. And you didn't give a shit. All in the name of some fake god. Where's your god now, Sierra?" 

Sierra spit some blood out of her mouth while still lying on the ground, "He will give me peace on my journeys. Less I can say for you. Your friends can only protect you for so long. Anna, the one who will go to extremes to keep you all safe, knowing damn well none of you would do the same for her. Should I have picked you instead, Anna? Or maybe Maddox, Chase? Asher? You failed me Dutchlynn. And you will suffer for that." 

I shook my head, "I won't. You will. You will rot in a cell for the rest of your life. I will live and you will die. May Drondy have mercy on your soul." 

Sierra clicked her tongue, "Drondy will forgive me for what I did. It is you. Foolish girl who made the mistakes. Fuck you and damned friends. I shall mark all of your souls."

 I felt as more tears came from my eyes, "You're going to rot in hell." 

She tilted her head, "Maybe I'll see your mother."

 I then lost it. 

I got out of Asher's grip and began beating the absolute shit out of Sierra. 

Everyone tried to pull me off, but my anger was too strong. 

Once they finally pulled me back, Sierra laughed, "You feel that anger rising up in your bones? That's him. Drondy has already come to claim you. Each and every one of you psychopaths."

 I then grabbed one of the wires that they used for the electro-shock treatment.

 I walked up closer to Sierra, "I'm not heartless like you, Valu. I was going to let you rot. But no cell would contain your wickedness. You said your mother died in this very room, no?"

 Anna widened her eyes, "D? Dutchlynn, she's not worth it."

 Sierra scoffed, "You don't have the strength to do that. You're weak Dutch."

 I raised an eyebrow, "Oh really? You wanna see just how weak I am?"

 I sparked one of the wires and Chase sighed, "Don't do this D. It will ruin you." 

I shook my head, "I don't care."

 Once Chase realized that he was getting nowhere, and that there was no changing my mind for what I was about to do, Asher stepped in. 

He placed his hand over the wires and sucked his teeth, "Dutch, you really want to do this?" 

I nodded, numbness filling my body, "I really do."

 Asher clicked his tongue, "Okay, then don't."

 I scoffed, "What?" 

He nodded, "You want this? I'll make it happen. But I'm not putting this on you. I will do it, if that's what you want. Is it what you want?" 

I looked down at Sierra's weak body. 

I looked into Asher's eyes and then sighed, "Do it." 

Maddox widened his eyes, "Dutchlynn!" 

Anna grabbed my hand, "D, don't do this! I promise you, it's going to make absolutely nothing better." 

I shuddered lightly, "I don't care. It's worth it. Right here and now, it's worth it." I looked back up at Asher, "Do it." 

Asher nodded, "Okay. I'll do it."

 I sucked my teeth, "Kill her. And let her burn with her sins." 

Asher nodded again, "Chase, get her out of here." 

Chase widened his eyes, "Asher man, don't do this." 

Asher clicked his tongue, "Chase, get her out of here! Now!" Chase grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the lab room. 

That's when I noticed how dark it was outside. 

Chase and I were waiting in the hallway. 

Chase sighed, "Dutch, I know that you think you might want Sierra to die right now. But just, think about this for a minute."

 I nodded, "I am thinking. I've thought about this so clearly. And, everything in my mind has been fucked up. But this- this is the only thing that feels right." 

After I finished speaking, I watched as Greer, Anna, Maddox, and Asher came running out of the lab room. 

I widened my eyes, "What happened? Is it done?" 

Seconds later, I watched as the lab room exploded. It bursted into flames and I just smiled slightly, knowing that Sierra was burning in pain. 

Screaming for help. 

And I enjoyed every single second of it.

 Maddox nodded, "I think it's done."

A few days later, I was walking down the halls with Asher. We've gotten very close since the... incident. 

Greer walked up to us, "They identified the body. Nurse Sierra Valu is dead."

 I swallowed a lump in my throat, "Thank you G. I'll see you later." 

After Greer walked off, Asher and I noticed a new face. She was around our age with red hair and a pale face. 

She was checking into the hospital. 

The receptionist smiled, "Name?" 

The girl sucked her teeth, "Um, Jasmine Valu."
