"So.. wanna tell me what happened at your house?" Nagito said with a soft smile, mikan felt a wave of reassurance when he smiled like that, it made her happy seeing him like that. Mikan then looked away from him and sighed before looking at the carpet on the floor "w-well I walked out of my room and seen my m-mom and her boyfriend sitting in the living room, it looked like they have been drinking.. so I tried to s-sneak past them a-and they saw me and started yelling." Nagito looked at Mikan, seeing tears form in her eyes, "th-they started throwing whatever they could at m-me and told me to get out and never come b-back.." She choked back tearsamd she wiped her eyes. "Tsumiki.. I'm so sorry." Nagito hugged the girl, rubbing her back gently before pulling away from her, "if you would like, you could stay here for a bit." Nagito offered.

Mikan blushed and smiled a bit, that's was the first time someone has hugged her in a long time, she couldn't even remember the time someone complemented her, she looked at Nagito, her eyes were wide, her cheeks were beaming red. She never thought someone would care about her, would save her, would even try to help her out. Everyone usually just wanted to force her to do things, or just use her for her body, but not him. "n-nagito.." Mikan mumbled under her breath "Hm? What's wrong?" Nagito looked at her curiously.

Nagito, he was different, he wasn't like everyone else. She knew he wouldn't use her, hurt her, or anything like that. She trusted him. "Hello? Mikan?" Nagito said in a worried tone and Mikan was still staring at him, eyes wide and blushing. Mikan then grabbed the collar of his shirt gently, pulling him close to her, she kissed him. "Mmph?!" Nagito was taken by surprise, he never thought mikan would do that, he then kissed back, cupping her cheek in his hand.

The purple haired girl broke the kiss, realizing what she'd done. "H-hah? HAAAA!!" Mikan yelled she panicked and tried to get up, but instead hit Nagito in the face and fell off the couch. "I-I'm sorry!!" Mikan said, crying. "N-no it's fine!-" Nagito put his hands in the air waving awkwardly "just a bit surprising is all.." the blonde look away, blushing, think of what to say. After that the atmosphere became intense.

Nagito then remembered what they were talking about earlier, "Hey Mika- I-I mean Tsumiki.. just so you know, I have a extra room you can stay in, you may leave whenever you want too." Nagito said, patting her head before getting up and walking upstairs. Mikan blushed deeply as she watched him walk away, she then smiled "..Nagito.."
