I stood up immediately when I saw the familiar built of body making his way out to me. "What happened?" I asked curiously reaching for him. 

"They said it would take some time for them to find out and they would contact me." He replied gloomily, his lips pulled down a bit. 

"And your friend? Did he contact you back?" I asked again. 

"I don't know my phone died down yesterday." He looked down at his phone whispering that. 

"Why didn't you charge it?" 

"I forgot my charger at my house." He whispered even more softly. I just gave him an eyeroll cursing under my breath. I was wrong at my first assumption of him. He was not just weird but stupid, silly and irresponsible too.

 "Tell me something honestly. Do you even know where you want to go?" I inquired.  

And I knew the answer was no when he bit his lips tapping his feet slightly on the ground before looking up at me with fake confidence. "Of course I do. I'm going to China."

I tilted my head eyeing him sharply. "China isn't a small place. So where exactly to China?" I pressed him more and he just looked like a kitten caught in a crime.

 "I-I'm. Why will I tell you?" He turned the question towards me. I just sighed leaving the topic because there was no way that I would want to argue with him in the morning. But I got the minimum idea that he was all unplanned. 

"I'm hungry. Do you want to get something?" I offered instead and he almost gave a big smile his eyes shining with joy, before hiding it with a grumpy face. Alright so food was his weakness. I noted down in my head. 

"It's not like I'm hungry but since you are insisting so much. Let's go." He acted coolly walking ahead now. I bit back a smile following him. For an unknown reason I couldn't think of leaving him in the station or anywhere alone. Probably because his stupidity that could attract troubles quite successfully. I didn't knew the exact reason. But whatever it was I couldn't abandon him and that's the main point here.

"Why aren't you picking up your phone?" He spoke with his mouth full. I pinched the bridge of my nose not being able to decide what to do. It was Earth calling. After a lot of internal debates I received the call. 

"Hey Joong where were you? I've been calling you so many times." Earth's frowning bombarded through the other side of the phone. 

"Oh I'm sorry I was busy in my office." I lied. 

"Aww I thought I would tell you to take a leave tomorrow because I'm free." He voiced out his wish. 

"I'm really really sorry Earth but I can't take a leave now. I'll call you later alright I have lots of work." I faked a stressed voice hanging up on him. Because I knew he would only give a word but then at the end will himself back off. And any way I was really planning to spend this week alone. Well not totally alone since Nine was my responsibility now and I couldn't shake him off. I closed my eyes heaving a deep sigh. 

"Why did you lie?" As soon as I  opened my eyes I was welcomed with Nine looking at me dubiously. His hands still on the cutlery but not moving waiting for my answer. 

"What?" I asked trying to play unbothered.

"You are not in your office. Neither are you busy. Then why would you lie? Are you a ...mob?" He whispered the last word softly, his eyes widened in excitement and his eyelashes frozen.

 
I rolled my eyes trying to ignore him. "Eat now. And I'm just a normal person doing a normal job I a normal company. I've taken a leave for this weekend but I don't want any company to ruin my peaceful time." I didn't even know why but I felt the urge to tell him the truth to make him believe me. And when he nodded slightly with a strange comfort and trust brimming in his eyes. I knew I wanted him to look at me like that always. 

"So where are you going to stay now? It might take you days before you get your passport back." I asked while munching on my food. 

"Can I get a hotel nearby with a cheap rate? Since I really couldn't bring a lot with me." He asked in a timid voice, hesitating a bit.

 "Well if you don't have a problem you can stay with me for the time being. I live alone anyway and you won't have to pay anything for that." The offer just came out of my mouth so easily. It felt so strange how I was so desperate in keeping him with me. I was confused as well. But perhaps he looked too vulnerable in my eyes that I couldn't help but feel the need to protect him, to look after him.

 
He reflected the thought in his mind for a few minutes before looking at me with a smile. And I already knew the answer.

 
"That's a nice idea. I'll stay with you if you don't have a problem with it." Although he didn't need to voice out his answer out but I still was glad hearing it from his mouth. I nodded too. "But I have a condition." He interrupted the happy moment making me look at him confused.

 
"We'll have to make a deal that as long as I'll stay with you, we can't touch each other."
