POV: Jean overworked herself and you tried to find a way for her to relax but... well y'know.

He was staring at her doing her paperwork intensively and has been going on for four hours with only her touching her glass of water once. Don't even get him started how many times he tried to convince but... She was too stubborn for her own sake. "Jean... you should take a break. You can't keep it on like this." He said out of concern but Jean was persistent enough to keep working.

"No, I still have a lot of work, I can't simply abandoning them-"

"Jean. I asked you to take a break not abandoning them besides why not you gave some of these to idk... Kaeya? Lisa perhaps?" He said as he took one of the paperwork, trying to read it but failed and ended up putting it down. "If you're shy to ask, I can go ask them for you." Jean immediately turned to him with a devastated look on his face.

"No. I must not trouble others with such simple paperwork." She said as he took the papers away from her hand and slammed his hand on her desk before leaning so close to her face which made her a little bit surprised with her heart skipped a beat when he did that. He was leaning to close that Jean could feel her face heated up.

"Look... Even your face is red. You must have a fever." Of course, M/N was a bit dense to notice that she was actually blushing instead of having a fever. Who could blame him given that she barely hydrate herself?

Jean immediately looked away before she tried to compose herself. "No. no. I'm fine... Just need coffee and I should be fine and be able to continue doing these paperwork." She assured him but only to earn a frown.

"Sorry, Acting Grand Master. I ain't letting you get sick again." He began to leave her office which bewildered her for a moment before he returned with Kaeya, Lisa and few underlings Knights to take away the paperwork away from her while Jean started to feel guilty. "Thanks. I'll leave 'em up to you. And as for you Jean." She flinched when he looked at her with such sharp eyes.

"Learn to rely on someone once in awhile. It don't have to be the whole knights of Favonius. You could rely getting help from Eula or Lisa or Kaeya.... Heck even Amber. Or you find that heavy, I'm still here for you to rely on." His word definitely sweet to hear but some part of her saying that she was weak for an Acting Grand Master.

M/N looked at her in pure concern before letting out a sigh. "Please. If the Acting Grand Master is sick who else going to look over Mondstadt?" M/N asked as Jean just stayed silence before he let out another sigh in guilt. "Sorry if my words hurt you. I'm just-"

"No... I should say sorry. You've been coming here often because Lisa told you to right?" She asked, as she fidgeted with her fingers around.

"Yes and no. I did came to check up on you because Lisa told me to but since you were being hard on yourself, I made it a part of my schedule to check up on you." M/N explained as Jean looked at him before M/N took a seat in front of her. "You deserve a rest and praises from different people for your efforts, Jean. You've done well." He smiled so softly.

Jean could feel her cheeks flushed by the compliment he just gave her. Before she could say any words of gratitude, he interrupted her with another sudden compliment. "You're very pretty, you know." He complimented her as Jean's face become even much more darker. Maybe much more redder than Diluc's hair. "As hypocritical it is coming from someone who doesn't know what rest is but I have to say that you should rest more. Relax." He said in assuring tone.
