A/N : Hi everyone! This chapter is a little bit more gruesome compared to my other chapters, but I promise it has a happy ending!

"Pro hero Y/N! I need your help over here!" The voice of another pro hero calls out to you.

Currently, the city you were stationed to patrol in is under a heavy villain attack. A criminal with a gigantic quirk and another villain with a fire-breathing quirk were robbing a bank, and when the police intervened they became violent.

As you race down the street to help out the other hero, you pass by crumbled and burning buildings that once lined the sidewalk. People stand hopelessly as they watch the hero's fighting. Their screams can be heard a mile away as they wait for the villains to be stopped.

"Y/N! Thank goodness you're here, this villain is extremely dangerous and several pros have already been severely injured trying to detain them!" Pro hero Fatgum exclaims.

"This is already out of hand! We have to put a stop to this now!" You shout back at Fatgum. "How much strength do you have left, Fat?"

"Not a lot, but I'm hoping enough to take another few hits!"

You stick your hand in your costume's pocket and pull out a couple of snacks.
"Here, eat this!" Tossing the snacks over your shoulder, you return to analyzing the villain. You work alongside Fatgum often, so it's common for you to have food on hand.

"Alright, I've got a plan. Since the other heroes are dealing with the gigantic villain, we can deal with the fire quirk villain ourselves."

Fatgum nods as he stuffs his face.
"Right, so what's the plan?"

"I'll need you to distract him and take any blows that he deals out. While he's hitting you I'll attack him from behind, and cuff him, okay?"

Fatgum grunts with a nod of affirmation. Your plan is put into motion, you swiftly maneuver yourself behind the villain, far enough away so you're out of sight. You can hear your partner calling out to the villain and gaining their attention.

"Nows my chance..." Taking a deep breath you race towards the criminal and deal a breath-taking blow to their back, forcing them to the ground. The villain just lays there as they have been knocked unconscious, making it easy for you to cuff their wrists.

"Fat! Are you alright?!" Fatgum stands beside you with his hand on his knees, taking labored breaths.

"Yeah! I just took a lot of hits. I'm fine though!"

"It seems like the other villain has been captured too!" Looking down the road you notice the police putting the other villain into a car. You begin waving your arms in the air to signal the officers your way.

"Pro hero Y/N!" A voice shouts out to you. A figure comes running towards you dressed in all white.

"Ingenium?! We've got the villain! Everything's okay now."

"Not quite." The look on Iida's face made your stomach churn. "We've got a search and rescue team going in search of another hero."

"A missing hero?! Who is it?!" Fatgum questions worriedly.

"It's Deku." Your heart drops at the sound of his name. Deku, your Deku is missing. "He was heavily injured by the gigantic villain, and he hasn't been seen since. Another hero said that when he was hit, he fell from a great distance. With the villain attack being so dangerous, other heroes didn't notice and they didn't have time to help him.

"Well, we can't just stand here! We have to go fund him!" Without saying another word, you rush past the other two heroes and straight towards where the gigantic villain was first spotted.

"DEKU!" Cuffing your mouth with your hands, you scream at the top of your lungs. "DEKU! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Your search goes on for what seems like hours until you notice a bright red boot sticking out from under a pile of rubble.

"DEKU!" You feel an adrenaline rush surge through your body, enabling you to lift up the large pieces of concrete and steel that are covering the hero.
Once you pull away the last piece, you pull Deku into your lap.
"D-Deku... Deku!" No matter how loud you shout, he still doesn't respond. Your body becomes limp once you notice the pool of blood left behind on the ground, and the blood that now covers your hands. Your eyes soak your face in tears, and you can't help but scream.

"No...no...no..."

"Y/N?" A hand touches your shoulder, lightly shaking you as you're abruptly brought out of your sleep. "Y/N, what's wrong honey?"

"I-Izuku?" You open your eyes to see Izuku's worried expression. You feel your heart racing within your chest, and your skin is cool and clammy. Slowly, you're coming back to your senses.

"Y/N, honey, are you okay? You were tossing and turning in your sleep and you started shouting.

"Y-yeah, I just had a nightmare... that's all." You feel your eyes begin to well up with tears as a wave of relief and fear rich over your body.

"Come here Y/N, let me hold you." Izuku opens his arms allowing you to lay your head against his chest. The sound of his heart beating is rather soothing to you, helping you calm down. "Do you want to tell me what happened?"

You let out a sigh and take a deep breath before beginning to explain.

"We were on a mission, two really dangerous villains were attacking us and we got split up..." Starting to get choked up again, you feel more hot tears run down your cheeks."

"It's okay honey, keep going." Izuku gives you a soft smile as he gently wipes your tears away with his thumbs.

"Y-you got really injured and I found you d-dead..."

"Aw baby, come here." He pulls you back into his chest and wraps his arms around you tightly.

"I...I thought you were gone... a-and I couldn't save you..." You hug Izuku tightly as if you can't get close enough to him.

"Shhh baby it's okay, I'm okay... I'm right here."
Izuku plants a soft kiss on your forehead before resting his chin on the top of your head.

"I know it's just... I can't bare the thought of losing you, Izu."

"You don't need to think about it Y/N, because I'm not going anywhere." You pull away from the hug only to feel Deku rest his forehead against your own.

"Promise me?"

"I promise Y/N. I'm yours forever."

You both share a gentle kiss on the lips, lingering on each others touch. Izuku opens his arms for you once again, and you gladly lay your head on his chest, feeling his arms hold your body with his legs intertwined with your own.
