Deku x Reader Oneshots

💖🎄Holiday Lights🎄💖

The winters air is crisp, with a chilly wind hitting against your bedroom window. You're laying on your bed watching Netflix on your laptop with a mug of coffee/hot chocolate in your palms.

It's the perfect winter's day, being bundled up inside. The only thing to make it better would be if Izuku was there to cuddle with you.

Speaking of, you hear your phone go off, quickly flipping it over to read Izuku's name on the screen.

"Hello?" You answer, holding your phone up to your ear.

"Hey Y/N! A-are you free tonight?"

"Yeah, I'm free! What are we doing?"

"Well... It's a surprise! So I'll see you tonight, and I'll pick you up at 8!"

He quickly hangs up the phone, leaving you to shake your head lightly with a giggle.

"That boy is always so nervous." You chuckle to yourself. You nuzzle back down into your bed and continue watching your movie.

At around 7:00 pm you start to get ready. You brush your hair, put on your warm winter coat, and pick out a hat and a scarf to match. Soon you hear a knock on your front door, and you excitedly slip on your boots before answering it.

"Hi, Izuku!" You say, greeting him cheerfully.

"Hey, baby." He gives you a quick, gentle kiss on your forehead before grabbing your hand and holding it up like a princess, helping you to step down from your porch step. You can't help but giggle at his chivalry and notice the light blush that's covering his cheeks.

"So, where are we going?" Izuku takes your hand in his and gently rubs his thumb over the back of your hand.

"You'll find out soon, Y/N, I promise." He swings your arms back and forth as you both walk together along the sidewalk.

You take your time, admiring the beautifully decorated houses in your community and stopping to show Izuku your favorites. There's even one house that has lights that dance along with the music.

The air becomes cooler and you take notice of the steam clouds forming in front of your faces, as you continue on your way. 

You nudge Izuku with your elbow, getting his attention, and then let out a huff to make a large cloud of steam from your breath. 

"Heh, see? I'm a dragon!" You both start to laugh at your silly gesture and Midoriya brings your head to his lips, giving your a kiss while still chuckling. 

Midoriya notices the entrance of the community park up ahead. 

"Hey Y/N, we're almost there. Can you close your eyes for me?" 

"If I do that, I might fall! Plus, it's really slippery!" You stop to face him with worry washing over your face.

"I promise you won't fall. I'll guide you. okay?" Izuku holds both of your hands in his, a gentle expression on his face. You're hesitant, but you agree.

"Okay... as long as you promise."

"I do, baby. Now close your eyes. " You shut your eyes, feeling Izukuz hand cover them for an extra barrier. He stands behind you and carefully guides you both into the park. 

"Okay and one more step... aaaaand we're here! You can open your eyes now!"

You open your eyes to see the majority of class 1A gathered together. Todoroki, Bakugo, Kirishima, and even Aoyama are here. The area is poorly lit, with the only light being from a pole close to the entrance. 

"Hey, Midoriya! Hey, Y/N!" Kirishima waves at you both before nudging Bakugo to do the same, only receiving a scowl. The other two boys greet you too before returning to whatever they were doing before. 

"Hi everyone!" Izuku greets them in return. "Is it almost ready?" 

You give a puzzled look to Deku, which he plays off with a smile. 

"Yep! All set. You just give us the signal, okay Midobro?" Kirishima gives a goofy smile with a thumbs up. 

"Hey Y/N, let's go sit over there on the bench away from the crowd." Izuku points to the area, grabbing your hand and leading you to the bench. You take a seat and Deku wraps his arm around you, pulling you into his side. 

You feel your hands start to become numb from the cold, and your curse under your breath for forgetting a pair of gloves. You bring your hands up to your mouth and attempt to warm them with your breath. 

"Are you cold? Here, I'll warm you up." Izuku takes your hands in his and does the same as you, only he puts your hands in his jacket pocket, rubbing them gently with his thumbs. 

"Thank you, Izu." You giggle, a light blush heating up your cheeks. 

"Anything for you, Y/N." He gives you a warm smile, the one that usually gives you butterflies. 

Without you noticing, Deku gives a signal to the guys to start the surprise. 

"Hey, baby? Can you look up in the sky for me?" You give him another puzzled look but do as he asked. 

Seconds later the night's sky is lit up, followed by a loud bang. The orange color of the blast reminds you of Bakugo's explosions. Right after the blast follows another one, and then an icy twinkle immediately after. 

"Izuku! It's so beautiful!" A hugs grin takes over your face as you give him a thank-you kiss on the cheek. He pulls you closer so that your head is laying on his shoulder. You nuzzle in close to his warmth and gaze up at the lights show. 

Suddenly a blue streak shines across the sky, and reflects off of small particles that were scattered, making a twinkling effect. The shining light resembles Aoyama's naval laser, and the twinkling bits look like shards of ice

For the grand finale, several blasts are set off one right after the other along with those blue streaks and twinkling ice. You feel Izuku's hand squeeze yours from the inside of his pocket, followed by a kiss on the top of your head. 

"Merry Christmas, Y/N. "

"Merry Christmas to you too Izu."
