Chapter 13: secret agents

My eyes were shut but I could hear loads of whispering.
"Look how cute they look"
"Quick take a picture before the wake up"
What on earth was going on? I opened my eyes to be greeted with something absolutely horrifying.

I was greeted with creepy smiles from all the sway boys and and the Triller Compound.
"You guys are too cute" Azra said looking at us.
"Yh you guys are the cutest" Tayler said smiling. Then his smile suddenly dropped.
"Now get away from my sister." He said as he pulled Josh and Vinnie away from me by their ears.
"Hey I wouldn't go there bro!" Josh said defensively.
"She's younger than my sister!" He continued.
"I'm not worried about you Josh" Tayler said.
"It's mister thirst trap over here that I'm worried about." He said pointing aggressively at Vinnie.
"Really bro, is that what you think of me?" Vinnie said clutching his chest as he acted offended.
Tayler just looked at him blankly.
"Anyways I've got to get going." Vinnie said as he grabbed his things and headed for the door.
"See y'all later!" He said exiting the house quickly.

"Anyways...looks like this little one is getting all the hype now!" Blake said as he flung his arm round me.
"Hey I'm not little!" I said getting annoyed.
"Aww look how cute she looks when she's angry" Bryce said in a babyish voice.
"Uh you guys are so annoying man" I said as I stormed off to my room.
"We're just messing around Grace!" Kio said as he pulled me back.
"Yh, we're really all proud of you. You've done really well on TikTok" Noah said.
"Thanks guys but I'm nothing special." I said wanting them to drop the topic. Im sure they all sensed it so they dropped the topic.
"Anyways...movie night?" Markell said.
Everyone agreed and began to head down to the cinema room.

All of a sudden the doorbell rang. I went to answer the door and I was met with Charly Jordan.
"Oh. You still live here." She said looking at me with disgust.
"Nice to see you too!" I said sarcastically with fake enthusiasm.
"Are you gonna move or what?" She said looking at me like I was dirt. Why was she so mad? I couldn't tell if it was because I was British or because I was black. Either way this girl was seriously pissing me off and she's only been in front of me for 10 seconds. I stepped to the side to let her in.
"Where's my boyfriend?" She said looking me up and down.
"Why are you such a bitch?" I asked her as I squared up to her.
"Ew, get away from me." She said.
"Or what?" I replied not backing down to a bully.
"Or I'll make sure Tayler puts you on the first flight back to London."
I laughed in her face.
"As if Tayler would listen to you over me!" I said laughing at how delusional she was.
"You really wanna test me huh?" Charly said looking smug. Tayler came upstairs to see me with Charly.
"Oww, baby she hit me!" Charly said as she began the dramatics. All I could do was roll my eyes at this grown ass woman acting like I, a 16 year old, hit her.
"I didn't touch her Tay" I said crossing my arms fed up with this girl's nonsense. Tayler ran over to Charly and completely ignored my existence.
"Where does it hurt?" He said holding onto her concerned as he shot daggers at me.
"Tayler! I didn't do anything!" I said getting defensive. And rightfully so. This bitch was totally manipulating him!
"Grace just apologise now!" He said getting angry.
"But I-"
"Now!"
I couldn't be bothered to argue.
"I'm sorry." I said with the fakest smile plastered on my face.
"I'll be downstairs baby" he said kissing her and going back to the cinema room.
I threw up in my mouth at the very sight of it. I didn't want to admit it, but she was right. If I got on the wrong side of her I really could be getting shipped out of here. She had him under some sort of spell.
"You see? So don't. Mess. With. Me." She said as she walked past me to join everyone downstairs. I need to get Tayler to see her true colours somehow. I have to. I let the matter go for now and joined everyone downstairs. I made sure to sit as far away from Charly as possible because I couldn't promise to not attack her if she said something I didn't like. I sat next to Josh and he noticed how irritated I was already.
"Sup with you?" He whispered to me.
"Her." I said as I looked over at Charly and he instantly knew.
"Ignore her. I'm sure Tayler will figure it out for himself. Also, can you help take this out, it's hella tight." He said referring to the cornrows I put in his hair earlier.
"Come here," I said as I put his head in my lap and took them out as we watched the movie. I kept noticing Charly staring at me, but I wasn't about to back down to some American. No way.
After getting through about 5 movies, most people had gone home or gone to their own rooms. It was just me, Nate, Tayler and Charly left. As Nate got up to leave, I got up with him as I wasn't about to be left with this sickening couple. We both left the room and I went up to my own bedroom.

Something was off with the relationship. It was so obvious Tay was more into her than she was into him. I was gonna find out more about it tomorrow. I had to. It wasn't long before I fell asleep.

I woke up the next day and got ready as I was going on a mission. Today was the day I was going to catch Charly out. But I couldn't do it alone, so I called someone I knew would help me out.
"Vinchenzo I need your help."
"Why are you calling me at 6am?" He said groggily.
"Stop asking so many questions and meet me at the compound in like half an hour. It's urgent. And wear something less...Vinnie hacker and more secret agent" I said hanging up the phone and getting myself ready for the day.

It wasn't long before I heard knocking at the front door. I let Vinnie in and dragged him up to my room before anyone noticed anything. He looked completely confused and also kind of worried.
"Are you ok Grace? Are you hurt or something?" He said checking me for any signs of injury.
"No, no it's nothing like that. I need you to help me spy on Charly. There's something off about her and I need proof."
Vinnie look at me like I was crazy.
"Are you out of your mind?! You woke me up to play spy kids with you?!?" He said getting angry.
"Look, I really need your help. I'll owe you and you can demand a favour whenever you want. Please do this for me."
"Fine." He finally agreed.

We waited and waited for Charly to leave and when she did, me and Vinnie followed her. We got in his car and followed her to wherever she was heading. After an hour long drive she pulled into a house. But it certainly wasn't hers. Me and Vinnie crept out of his car as we saw a tall boy come out of the house. He had dark hair and light eyes and greeted Charly with a smile.
"Hey babe" he said as he kissed her. I whipped out my phone and took a video of them making out.
"No. Fucking. Way."Vinnie said as we were both left speechless.
